  1. If only your Prophet PBUH could. " Why will there be more women in hell than men? Answer Praise be to Allah. It was narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that women will form the majority of the people of Hell. It was narrated from ‘Imran ibn Husayn that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “I looked into Paradise and I saw that the majority of its people were the poor. And I looked into Hell and I saw that the majority of its people are women.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 3241; Muslim, 2737) " Read more at https://islamqa.info/en/answers/21457/more-women-in-hell-than-men
  2. No, the number of muslim jats far exceeds Sikh jats and has always done. That's not cool bro. This girl Qandeel Baloch unfortunately was murdered by her brother for this video. This muslim man was kind of set up in this interview by Qandeel and she acted inappropriately throughout whilst him, the silly sausage (no offence) was trying to teach her about the Quran. She was famous in Pakistan but this Mufti or whatever wanted to talk to her about her image. She set up the meeting and made him look like a fool.
  3. Howdy Neighbour! Sikhs did voice their concerns very vocally in support of Babri Masjid and condemned the hindus for this act. And do you know what your co-religionists did to several gurdwaras in Pakistan and Afghanistan? I'll let you guess. The issue for me and probably most Sikhs is the history of building in its original construction. Sophia Cathedral was the centre of orthodoxy. It is like the Kaaba for Muslims and Sachkhand Sri HariMandir Sahib for Sikhs. It is no ordinary church. It is the heart and soul of orthodoxy. Now coming onto mosques, those mosques in spain are not religiously significant. Just like hundreds of Gurdwaras in Pakistani villages. The religiously significant gurdwaras in Pakistan ie Nankana Sahib Panja Sahib, Kirtan Garh Sahib etc..., are very precious to us Sikhs. The other gurdwaras in villages, you are welcome to them. See the difference? Guru Sahib built a mosque for his muslim soldiers in Gurdaspur called "Guru ki maseet". After 1947 all the muslims left for Pakistan and then the Sikhs started to use it as a Gurdwara. Since the last 10 years there has been an increase of Muslims in that area and the Sikhs there vacated the mosque for the muslims to re-use as a mosque after 60 or 70 years. That place is precious to Sikhs as our Guru built it yet we laid no claim over the muslims for it. See the difference? We have alcohol problems in east Panjab. The Sikhs can't seem to get enough. You have alcohol problems in west Panjab. You have to get the christians to buy it for you. Also, you have heroin problems in Pakistan. We do as well on our side but nowhere near the scale as yours. Well even under moghal rule, we were still called hindus. No. Exactly. India and Pakistan are both sides of the same coin. I am not a Indian. But surely the best of planners, Allah SWT created these people like this, so to destroy Allah's plans means that either Allah is not the best of planners, or that Allah is not perfect in himself? Eid mubarak as well neighbour!
  4. @MuslimNeighbour ok so you must have watched it by now. I am interested to know why 1.2 billion muslims have not been able to take back israel with a population of 9 million, in an area land mass that is smaller than East Panjab. You wanted to know why 20 million Sikhs don't take back West Panjab with a population of some 200 million, and I gave you an honest answer. Let's hear yours.
  5. @MuslimNeighbour Howdy Neighbour, you're awfully quiet these days.
  6. Does anybody recognise this man. I think he is from London or South England. He was in a video being assaulted.

    Pesh?

Get a note from your doctor. Ask them to write it in Gurmukhi. Give it to the Panj. That should do it .
  8. chatanga1

    Pesh?

if it was an accident you don't need to do anything.
  9. Hi all. Wanted to bump this thread again and bring everyone news of a dismaying situation in Lahore, with the ShaheedGanj of Bhai Taru Singh being taken over by Barelvi muslims. Some years ago, a sect of muslims took over this Gurdwara and painted one of the domes green, although it has been repainted white. This article mentions the same guy behind the recent attempt on 26th July, Sohail Butt. He is the same guy who made the video on the 26th threatening Sikhs in Pakistan. https://www.tribuneindia.com/2007/20070827/main8.htm
  10. Well a lot of hindus didn't see the harm in razing Babri Masjid down instead or see it as wrong. Does that make it right then? The majority of india never saw anything wrong with its security forces killing thousands of Sikhs in false encounters. Is that ok? There has always been a symbolic prayer offered by orthodox christians outside the church for years and years.
  11. Howdy neighbour! We are then of the same ilk. Do pakistan esp in Panjab still follow and identify according to their hindu caste? We both know the answer. Maybe you should get the opinions of arabs who see asiatic muslims as part-time idol worshippers. The hindus worship the moon and the stars. I've seen some others appropriate those same two to make some kind of religious symbol. Oh yes, it's on our neighbours' country flag. Yes jhatka is our tradition and we follow it. True. India is one big shitthole. 70 years ago the land that you come from was also part of that same shitthole. But we can, somewhat afford to feed ourselves in order to take a <banned word filter activated>. Pakistan would never have survived if it wasn't for the billions of dollars USA have given you since 1947, so your people could feed themselves. And the irony ! You call them the great devil, yet your leaders beg them for cash dollars because they cannot feed their own people. Oh, so it was the muslims who coined the name "Allah"? Quite simply, we Sikhs do not have the might to do so. Salahaddin conquered the Christian crusaders some centuries ago. Why can't the muslims, who are far stronger and capable than the Sikhs retake Israel, which in size is a little smaller than Panjab? Why haven't you you been able to prove your might in the last 70 years of Israel's existence? Quite right! We don't know what it's like. The nearest we get to feelings of international solidarity is the sadness and feeling of helplessness over cases of Sikh girls being kidnapped in Sindh and married to muslims. They were fed lies about "covering every inch of bangladesh with the blood of indian soldiers", yet woke up to the reality that 93,000 brave soldiers of Allah and the Islamic powerhouse republic of Pakistan has surrendered to kaafirs.
  12. Dear neighbour, you have correctly stated that 2 of the Sikh Guru were murdered by the Moghals. Do you know why the second of these was murdered? I will help you, as its good to help neighbours. Guru Tegh Bahadur was murdered because he stood up for the freedom of all religions. You read that correctly yes? If the Guru was prepared to give his life to uphold the freedom of hindus and others to practise their religion freely, no Sikh is going to go against this and force others to convert. If anybody has stated on this forum that such conversions have taken place they are mistaken. There hasn't been a halt to that growth. We can equally say the same for Islam, or Christianity. The numbers are still growing. On all sides.
  13. Howdy neighbour! It's nothing personal against Turkey or Islam/Muslims. Sikhs have always respected holy places of other religions. In East Panjab there are many villages bereft of muslims where mosques are still kept clean by the villagers, my nanke being one such village. A little history ? Yes please. The short haired ones DID take over the Golden Temple. There was muslim called massa ranghar who took over the Golden Temple. Two Sikhs killed him right there in the temple. Maharaja Ranjit Singh gifted khillats to the custodians of Badshahi Mosque on each and every Eid. It's a lie that Maharaja Sahib used this mosque for horse stables. As for the azaan, it was not banned in Lahore, but in places like Peshawar, Bannu etc. There was no real reason for doing this but only to impress on the pathans that they were no longer masters of that land. Let's go back to your previous post above. The short haired ones, Muslims, after taking over the Golden Temple used it to host dancing girls and such whilst consuming tobacco. I'm sure that Maharaja Sahib has never, and you are welcome to produce any evidence, consumed pork in any mosque, or entertained dancing girls there. Are Empires measuered on their timeline or the effect of their acheivements? My dear neighbour, the land that you call NWFP, or Suba Sarhad, is part of your country because, and only because of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. No-one else. So whilst Maharaja's empire was only a measly 50 years in time, the effects of such an empire are still shaping the world today, 200 years later.
  14. His name is Ravinder Singh from village joni, said as we say "johnny". He is from Nanaksar jatha, and has been exposing ghaghriwalas recent attacks on gurmat. Because of his village name gays like harinder of nkj have coined the name "Johnny Baba".

  16. I don't know about his credentials as a teacher but his part in the school management esp at British Sikh School was terrible. Cold and calculating. I just hope that the same happens sometime at Wolverhampton school, and it is taken on by people with the same vision as the 2 partners who set it up.
  17. The Khalsa Academies Trust (ACT) also have a school in Wolverhampton. It is called "The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton" (TKAW). When this school was originally set up as the British Sikh School (BSS), by a local partnership from Walsall, they asked for assistance from the Nick Kandola's academy trust. WHICH WAS THE WORST MISTAKE THEY COULD EVER HAVE MADE. Kandola's trust took the new BSS into their trust and then putting his people on the board of governors isolated the two partners who were most instrumental in setting up the school. The two were outvoted on everything, the original plan for the school was changed from a Sikh-centric platform to a money-making herd acheivements and results platform. It went to the extent that the two partners who set up the school weren't even informed of meetings. Rumours about them being spread in the school. Being isolated. They couldn't do anything and found themselves resigning. Which handed over total control to the Khalsa Academy Trust - Nick Kandola. Who was the main player behind these scenes at the school? Raminder Vig. After Vig, Mrs Sangha was made head. She disappeared suddenly at the end of one of the terms with no explanation to the children/parents except for "she wishes to spend more time with her family." Which points at something shady happening/happened, which the school has covered up. The result was that the Sikh-centric platform was edged out slowly. First Sikhs studies went out, it was moved to an after school slot under the guise of enrichment. Then the days of enrichment went from 5 to 4, to 3 to 2, and now to 1. Sikh studies is not a part of it any more. Gatka and tabla etc are offered but now students have to pay when they were to be offered for free under the scholls original plan. The school under the 2 partners wanted to teach Sikh philosophy, Sikh music, Sikh literature Sikh martial arts. They had a plan to elevate Sikhs to higher levels of management on a national and international level. But this has ALL gone out of the window under Kandola's group. They never wanted any of this. They just wanted the school itself. Sadly the Khalsa Acadmeies Trust now have the school . They, masquerading as a Sikh school have turned promising young Sikhs into virtual athiests. There is nothing "Khalsa" - pure about the TKAW. And thats the sad part really. They are no different for Sikh children than any other state school. The TKAW allowed bibles to be handed out to all its children, yet spent 1 hour on the anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's birthday to talk about Guru Sahib and his teachings. He is just making sure he has numbers on his side. Kandola's group has got away with it at wolverhampton. Don't let them get away with it again. If it's anything like Wolverhampton school there is no Sikhi there to begin with. The principal at TKAW seems to be the of the same calibre. A yes person. The guy is not to be trusted beleive me. He is one of the main culprits in denying two people the just accreditation and reward for going through a laborious 3 year program in order to set up the school. He plays the part of a "cheeky chappy fun teacher." It's all an act. In Wolverhampton the excitement and buzz of having our own school dampened after the first academic year and fizzled out completely in the second. Children going there for years and can't tell you basic things about Sikhi. The two people who set it up, this was the project of their lives, which they had dedicated their future to. To wrest control of it, and turn it into a money-making scheme was just an abominable act. The churning out of athiestic young Sikhs goes on through this venture.
  18. The Khalsa Panchayat - the Sikh Council of army chiefs threatened to kill Raja Lal Singh over this affair. Sher Singh was very admiring of the British and their war technology. Being a natural and gifted soldier this was natural. This is a common theme in royal households. Queens wanting their son to be King so it would raise their own profile prestige and power. Think about this. Maharaja Ranjit singh committed some kurehit. Akali Phoola Singh had him tied to a tree, ready to be whipped. Why didn't Akali Phoola Singh claim the throne of Lahore? The Dal Khalsa did crumble. After makng many victories and taking rule of large swathes of territory what happened to the Dal Khalsa within a decade ? They all starting fighting each other and became weak. Just an old wives tale.
  19. I have interacted with this guy on social media. he is NOT a nice guy. He absolves the murder of Maharaja Sher Singh and his 12 year old son by the Sandhawalias by saying that Maharaja Sher Singh was not even a son of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Guess who he uses as evidence ??? The british!!! Damandeep says that the British only recognised Maharaja Kharak Singh and Maharaja Dalip Singh as Maharaja Sahib's biological children. But I'm sure he's aware that the british even began to doubt that Dalip Singh was the son of Maharaja Sahib. It was the british who said that Maharaja Dalip Singh's father was a water-carrier.
  20. From what I have read on this there was no thought of her becoming sati, because Dalip Singh was still an infant (8 months) and suckling. Mothers in such situations were barred from sati. Gardner says that these girls were forced by Dhian Singh as they knew some of his secrets that could harm him if they were made public. He says these girls were forced to become sati and were almost dragged to the pyre. At the time, it wasn't the "british" representatives of the crown. It was the esat india company. They had to provide reasons to the British govt for taking over territories. They were carefull not to upset Parliament because parliament could revoke their license as trading agents of the crown. So they would make up stuff that made people in britian feel that the east india company was actually doing the right thing. One of these was an overexaggeration of sati. One of the other rule of the company and later the crown, was that kingdoms could only be bequeathed to blood children. So if a King failed to produce a heir, the company and later the crown could claim it as theirs. This happened with some Sikh Kings as well. The company produced a lot of false info about Maharaaja Sahib in order to smoothen the way to take over the Kingdom. This was true actually, but it happened after maharaja Sahib's death. Very. But they were also very well organised and patient. Waiting for the opportunity to present itself. Its something Sikhs aren't too good at these days.
  21. Another reason the percentage of Sikhs rose was because Sikhs actually returned themselves as Sikhs in the census every decade. Badals are so rich they don't need money from SGPC. They have multi-million dollar business in several places in Panjab and beyond. They were rishwat khoris but I doubt they ever took cash from the SGPC. Go to sikh book club. All Gyani Ji's books are there. https://www.sikhbookclub.com/
  22. The stopping of grain to the mandis never took off. As soon as the announcement was made indira sent the army to Panjab. It was Zail Singh who was tasked with providing a counter-force to Akali Dal. He, according to himself, gave funds and such to the Dal Khalsa. Sant Jarnail Singh only became a serious opposition to Akali Dal from around September 1983 onwards.
  23. indira visiting Sri Darbar Sahib to see her results happened when Sri Darbar Sahib was still under the control of the army. There was no issue of giving her any more welcome/permission than was given to abdali, massa ranghar etc. After OP Blue Star, the army held the complex for around 3 months to get Sri Akal Takht Sahib and other buildings repaired before it was handed over the SGPC. The indian govt needed to hide as much evidence of its acts as possible. indira's visit took place during this time. giani zail singh, her pet rat, visited about 2 or 3 days after the main attack was complete. Don't knock them for each and everything. Akali Dal/SGPC had no power at that time. They were all in army confinement. In the days before blue star, the Akali Dal announced, as part of it's morcha, that none of it's members would send grains to the mandis - the market where the government buys its grains from the farmers. Since at that time, Panjab supplied some 75% of india's wheat, it would have virtually destroyed india's balance of trading internationally, since india exports a lot of grains to buy other products it can't manufacture itself. This seemed to be a catalyst because as soon as the announcement was made the govt fearing this mobilised its ravan sena towards Panjab in a matters of datys. Even today, because Panjab govt and to some exent the indian govt still need that produce from sikh farmers, the sikh farmers/Akali Dal can still use it to their leverage if, IF, they had the temerity to do so. You see, just like we in the west like to see our weekly wage, monthly salary in our bank account, the farmers of Panjab want that money for their grains. If even for 1 year, every village in Panjab, decided to withhold grains from the mandi, or if they grew enough just to feed the whole village, it would cause the state govt immense problems.
  24. Harinder carried SGGS around in a wheelie-suitcase in US. He is a rat. He made thousands of dollars out of US gurdwaras with his sikh syllabus.
  25. Have you heard the audio recording of makhu and neki about Sri Dasme Patshahs Granth Sahib? Because they are part of the Sikh Missionary College, which is where the term comes from. Like how people how studied in taksals are called taksalis.
