  1. Yeah, I think Baba Deep Singh ji also helped in the process. And by reading it you know it was Guru Sahib's Bani, no one can come close to writing like Maharaj.
  2. I haven't had Darshan of Maharaj, but when you start Sikhi, doing Simran, Paath, listening to Kirtan and feeling the Anand Waheguru ji gives, the answers that you are seeking for will be answered automatically since you will be at a higher spiritual level. Don't worry, you got this
  3. Does listening to music help get rid of your Kaam, Krodh, Lobh, Moh, Hankaar Your lust, anger, greed, attachment and pride? And does it get you any closer to Waheguru ji?
  4. Mine are - Try and do Nitnem (Japji Sahib, Rehras Sahib and Sohila Sahib) without fail - Start a Sehaj Paath (at least try to) I watched the video above and Giani Pinderpal Singh ji said that if you do 4 Angs of Paath a day of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj, you finish all of it in a year. - Read the daily Hukamnama for Darbar Sahib - Listen to more Katha, make it a habit - Work hard for exams
  5. Thanks I like the one word in Gurmukhi and English feature
  6. Yeah Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaj added his father's Bani to Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj
  7. http://www.sikhnet.com/hukam They have the daily hukamnama
  8. Okay I didn't know that, I don't understand how that links with Jesus Christ.
  9. Yeah I wasn't going to convert. Never would I do that. I was just saying Jesus is a Bhagat, that was my point. Brother thank you, I can never fully understand how blessed I am.
  10. Explain which part, it doesn't really matter, Bhai Sahib, You obviously know more than me, I was never trying to say that I know more than you if you thought that.
  11. Yeah I think so, I didn't say Jesus was born then, evidence points to the fact he probably wasn't, more likely in a warmer time of year. 25th is used because pagan culture of the winter solstice mixed in with Christianity
  12. Not going to lie but... I think your going a bit to deep on the Christians here. It doesn't matter if the stars were aligned perfectly on that day or not. That doesn't mean much and is not really what the religion is about. Christianity at its core is worship of the one true God and we respect that. Jesus said "Our Father", he didn't say my father. He was a Bhagat. Christianity has just been corrupted over the years and some of it has been due to pagan and people of the times influence. E.g. the old Christians believed in reincarnation but it was taken out by some emperor because they didn't like it.
  13. Yeah I don't know much but that's what lots of Gursikhs do, they burn the fallen out Kesh and do an Ardas and some Paath.
  14. Well Kesh is the Guru's gift and should be treated very highly, it's for respect. Some say you should treat your Kesh with the utmost respect like Guru Sahib.
  15. This is what happens when people think that they don't need Waheguru ji
  16. I heard on a Basics of Sikhi Katha that you should collect fallen Kesh put them in a clean bag for respect and give them to the Gurdwara Sahib where they can do Satkar of the Kesh.
  17. ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ The Khalsa would have victory before then
  18. Great job veer ji seems like you have put in a lot of effort, well done
  19. At the end of the video Bhai Baljit Singh ji talks about how Mata ji was told by the sangat why aren't you wearing jewellery so she went to Guru Arjan Dev ji Sache Paatshah and asked for decorations to adorn herself with. Maharaj replied, I'll adorn you with a beautiful necklace. And there, the Bani of Baavan Akhri was sung
  20. Depending on their karam they could go through only a few maybe even 1 or even get the human life again. But it can be that a person has accumulated a lot of bad karams that he has to go through all 8.4 million life forms.
  21. Doesn't Amen mean "so be it" and is said the end of a prayer. The Muslims say Ameen.
  22. Great post Recommend you watch this, Bhai Jagraj Singh ji tells us about how he starting to keep is Kesh.
