So after 6 months or so I feel comfortable in saying I can sing Japji Sahib, it takes around 34 minutes as I sing it slow and clear. However in saying that , i do not know the meaning of the words being spoken. As I use transliteration when reading but memorized the majority of the paath. I am thinking of starting to read the Gurmukhi versions of Japji Shaib, so I can read and understand clearly. Question is has anyone been in this situation and does anyone have any helpful tips.

So I could do everyone twice? One for me one for her ? I just want her to get all the naam as possible, I thought because of anand karaj our souls have joined and all paath I do will help also, but I like singing kirtan so do not mind doing it twice.

When I do paath my daily routine of japji, benti chaupai, jaap sahib, kirtan saavaiyae, kirtan sohila, I also try and do weheguru simran but at work I usually listen to all sorts including sukhmani sahib, sid ghost, Santa janaa mil har jas gaaeiou, when I finish doing every paath, I say Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsi Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, please give all my naam and paath to Rajwinder, please let her be in peace, please let her be happy, please allow her joyt merge with yours, I then say how I feel to my wife, then say Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. This is how I do ardas, I dont think I'm doing it correctly

Cyber hukamnama , doesnt seem to work as when I ask for how to do paath and ardass for my wife, it just brings up random answers. There was nothing in relation to what I asked, nothing like the video above.

Agree the whole point, is to listen , understand and use the teachings in life, do not know why people do paath so fast, it's supposed to be receited at a certain temp so the vibration is manifested correctly, if spoken so fast I am sure it alters the vibration produced.
