There are areas near the punjab rajasthan border with many sikh converts. We need to focus on parchaar guys.

Lmaoo so we will just end up as labors always. Honestly we need to start preaching sikhi to people outside of punjab. I have noticed that many of these communities follow sikhi way better than punjabis like the sikhligar sikhs. Also many of those communities are way more disciplined than us. The future of sikhi will be these people. Forget about punjabis.

And these people are the so called sikhs of today lol. But we were not always like this. Can you imagine our ancestors acting in such an undisciplined way? Now the image of a sikh is that of a low iq dancing drunkard. What a fall we have had. And people take pride in using vulgar language, singing nonsense punjabi songs, dancing like clowns and call it punjabi culture.

Yuppp. Materialism has ruined us. Another thing I noticed here in Canada we have these annual nagar kirtans like khalsa day parade and stuff and I noticed that they have so many tents of unhealthy food and people just coming to eat as if it's a party and then go to the gurudwara hall and Matha tek and leave. Like people have turned langar into some get together parties for punjabis. Like I always wondered would even half of these people show up if there was no food? We are squandering our little resources in these meaningless things. I see non sikhs all show up , eat the food and leave. It literally feels like a lunch party or something.

What will anyone learn by coming to such events? I mean we have been here in the West for decades and sikhs are synonymous with free food community. 99% people here wouldn't know how our ancestors became shaheed so that we have our soverignity which we have foolishly given up on.

Now when we become a minority in Punjab as well by 2031 I wonder what will happen? Alot of stupid sikhs feel some sense of security that they are majority in Punjab. Wonder how they would feel within the next 10 years. Our best hope is to preach sikhi to the people near the areas outside of Punjab like haryana and rajasthan and those states like another user was talking about. Punjabis are a lost cause. We have like 10 years from now to be able to regain some of our hope. We all know what needs to be done and we have discussed it multiple times here.

Most of us here are just trying to learn and discuss the issues sikhs are facing. None of the people here are scholars so most of us wont be able to give 100% correct valid answers to a number of religous questions. But we do discuss alot of valid issues that sikhs face and is harming sikhi.

Now like I said we dont have any strong political power which is why all of us are in so much confusion. We cant enforce so many things due to lack of power. Can you spend the funds of Punjab government on propagating sikhi? No. We dont have any political power to help spread sikhi like most early religions did including islam and christianity. Spreading a religion without a strong political power propagating it is not possible.

People want a proper power structure backing them up which is why people get attracted to christianity and Islam. We are just a rootless people spread all over the world. We can't provide a sense of security and belonging to new converts and it is unfortunately the truth. We have nothing in order. All those rich gulf countries spend billions in propagating wahhabi Islam all over the world. You need money for research. 

Why do people easily convert to Islam and christianity? Not because they make alot of sense but these two religions can provide security and a sense of belonging to new converts given they have so many countries. Sikh converts are mostly on their own. It's hard and it feels lonely even for me as a Punjabi, the journey feels pretty lonely. So just think about people who are new to sikhi and how they feel.
