I kinda agree with this, making conversations on what is important to you, will drill it in to them, that you are more interested in Sikhi and less the world, but on the flip your Mum and Dad are your Gurus and should be respected as such, do what they say like help around the house help with the dishes be around more so they see your around and not just locked in your room, I kinda used to do this, but im lucky i have alot of mates who follow Sikhi.

Man its horrible to say its OK for him to just be hanged, im mortified, the issue here isn't so much him being ok, with being hanged, its a brave man, who stares at death and smiles, its more the injustice, letting this happen like the other countless injustices, this will not change anything. Sure, Guru shaibs said they spoke to God, had been to the domain of God which is without elements, where only the mind can travel to, had said that they had travelled the universe by taking there minds out of this vessel the body, had merged there elements and travelled faster than light to other parts of the world, had used spiritual powers to play a game of hide and seek with Sidhs. On the other hand you have thoughtful atheist/scientists who test and prod reality and try see what is true and what isnt, just saying something exists doesn’t make it so, its like saying i believe in “witches” doesn’t make it true, you need evidence, facts, to back up your claims, example E=mc2 a equation, was a conclusion of Einstein’s observations of reality, he couldn’t prove it, but it made mathematical sense and was taken on board by most scientist, not all, but from these mathematical equations it lead to the splitting of the atom, and that time space is a like a sheet, and gravity warps its, which were proven some before his death and some just recently, it was because they went and applied this equation they cracked nuclear fusion and thus E=mc2 was excepted. Unlike Religion, as what they have is *It says this in my Text so it is true* so you either believe it or Go to Hell or something familiarly gruesome. But where’s the proof can you show me God or some tangible evidence, the answer is mostly No. Myself I believe in a Creator, even with these amazing and right arguments. Why? Is because the religions they are rebutting are false. Sikhism doesn’t teach blind faith as some may have it, it’s based on factual foundations, without this I would probably be staunch atheist, as I base what I do on facts and commonsensical-reasoning, like if someone states a Fact I want proof of the claim or at least some learned theoretical consensus. By following Guru Granth Shaibs I realized that WOW, all this is true, it was eureka moment bigger than if aliens landed on earth or if time travel was possible. As I found out that God is real. I mean the concept God has been around for so long it seems watered down now, like not so important, its only by watching debates from massive minds like Dawkins, Hitchens you realize how amazing existence is, like I remember Dawkins saying that if God was a reality think of the consequences… You would have to change the laws of physics, astronomy, Genetics, and a whole variety of scientifically based subjects, and it’s by this statement knowing of God, is so fantastic, im mind blown pretty much every day.

Baji your future is already laid out, what i mean by this is that God can see till the end of time as can Gur Mukhs who have Merged in to Such, but that doesnt mean we dont have free will, it may seem abit of a contradiction, but its not. As for Karm yea there dictated by our past lives but not all of them were human, on the flip, if by great chance you find Sadh sangat any Paap you may have done can be wiped Clean, as Gurmukhs dont fall in to Karm they just exist in the present and any actions they take can alter your and othesr future including life and death, Baji its alot to think about, best not get entangled in this as it can drive you Nuts. Nah what i meant was that when you are in public places its hard to do simran out loud, so gurbani says do it untah ghaat means within your mind, but when your at home do it so you can hear your self, hope that helped. As for Consciousness you seem to be adamant that simran can be done how ever you want, i mean thats fine believe what you want, But ill take it on the practical Geevan of Baba Isher singh and others when they say there's a technique in doing simran, and there is a starting point which is Swaas Grass, over i think its done like this....

I read what you said, seemed overly poetic but hay everyone has there own way of expressing one's self, I haven't got a problem with that, as for the 5 can not be conquered, your holy misconstruing what Gur Bani is saying about what the Game is Gurbani says "Kaam Kroad Loub Moa Geeto asiy Kead Piaari" Translated "Win over the 5 this is the game of love" As for we are all one I know that ive studied Gurbani for a while now and its obvious we dont exist. That doesn't mean our actions dont mean anything Baji dont get it mixed, having understanding of what God is doesn't mean that you have Won, well your very far ahead of most in understanding but again this doesn't save you from Life and rebirth as God has made it that our Sins or Good deeds are what we are judged on (i.e has made it that he him self judges him self and send himself in to life and rebirth, only due to free will) this will go on till VaheGuru Merges everything back in to him self. Once your doing simran your Vichara (thoughts) start to minimise and we find it easier to concentrate How to do simran is When saying Vahe (breath in) then saying Guru (breath out) at the same time concentrating on the sound of your voice which is saying VaheGuru. GurBani States that any Jantar Mantar does not effect one that Does Naam Simran, do about a 1 hour a day if your afraid, though there isnt a time limit set, Sat Guru says you should do it with every breath

I’ve heard A few cases like yours, But I think you’re going about it the wrong way, Ive learnt that the way to change someone’s mind is through Love, If they ridicule you for the attempts to follow Sikhi, shows there are fully engrossed in Maya, Guru Nanak calls this state Borana (Mad) in a way we all if we haven’t attained Naam, but some are more engrossed than other. So Baji best thing to do if not make a stance that make it look aggressive or to overly Rude as this will Feed in to their Mind set i.e "Look at him he says he follows Sikhi but shows no respect for his Mum and Olders what Sikhi is this" im sure you'll get alot of that. Just state your view point and that you are not entirely sure whether this is Sikhi or not just say Ive heard from Katha and from Members of the Gurdwara that cutting your Hair, doing Rituals are frowned upon in Sikhi, "Because Baji these are your parents, on one side you should respect them whatever their view point is (doesn’t mean follow it), as God can pass Judgment, second you dont want to come across as Egotistic that you know better, your goal should be to create thought process so that they have to think about what you have said, maybe acknowledge that you made a valid point.

Question is do you know the difference between when sat guru talks, Kaal, Atma and Punj Doot talk, Tbh i dont I am not fully aware of how they talk and what they communicate, so for me to say that i am 100% sure this is Mun talking or Punj Choor talking i would be idiotic, because i havent that knowledge. Not entirely true, sant jarnail singh bhindranwale said in his speech that i am not a Sant just cause you call me Sant. What he meant was that the title Sant had to be earned, Ie you have to reach a certain spiritual level to be given this title. And most of the time the sangat havnt achieved that avasta and call who ever they think is sant according to what they think is Saintly

The shabad you should be reciting is the one that Bhai Gurdass ji prescribes its called VaheGuru do that 125,000 times

Baji your not wrong about being humble, but by just not saying what your avasta is doesnt mean you’re being egotistic, Bhagat Kaaber Ji telling the towns folk that he had met vaheguru wasnt being egotist, it was immense love for the Sangat that they should know the truth, but the people in the town just called him crazy, what my point is anyone in a postion of Power/authority in SIKHI must have a Avasta that’s the basis of our Religion otherwise its the blind leading the Blind, and comes down to statements like I believe this is the truth, that makes me laugh because it states in bani that there will be a time that even on things they have no grasp on, a opinion will be given. Some will say well i have the right to believe what i want to, thats fine as long as you dont tell other people it, as a statement of Fact, it’s important to just say i dont know but this is what i believe, that in my opinion is fine, but when it comes to things like What the mind is, or How to meditate or how to tackle the punj choor, one should not give a opinion, as gurbani has stated what it is and if you’re not sure that your interpretation of it is right, dont unwittingly lead someone in to the dark. Because its quite important this life, we only have one and if we get stuck in reading things and believing them as Gospal yet not knowing whether that person teaching had Union with God 100% this life is wasted. And it’s a touchy subject in our religion on who is a True Sant or Teacher of the Devine, because there have been very notable people in the punth after 1900's whos views differ in some regards hence the rift in Sikhi, makes me wonder. Im not trying to be rude, just to point out that people with these few are so fail imo, why would Guru shaibs go to such extents to teach how to meditate and talk to us about all the stages which come from doing abiaas, if all we need to guide us is *what we feel is right*.... Umm isnt consistent with Gurbani, gurbani talks about the killing of the 5 choor, to give advice on things you havnt conquered your self is hypercritical, but you may have i cant say. If you haven't I would be wary as Gurbani talks about 1 achieving something before 1 talks about it.

I could elaborate on this more but all i want to say is that there are Gur Sikh's Bani in Sat Guru Siri Guru Granth Shaib, what i mean is that if there are Gur Sikhs that understand and have achieved union with Vaheguru one should give them reverence and listen to them with full attention. On the flip side calling them Sant makes no difference to there Avasta. But me personally i dont agree with using the title Sant and so on. Because looking at history Sant title came to our nation in the 1900's some say it was the British governments advisor's who started it to cause a rift.
