I asked granthi today that why donn u stop people frm doing beadbi? i told him to look at lady serving the people in langar....face loaded wit tons of make up, hair fully coloured no head covering...smiling like an air hostess.... he said look there's a notice but who cares???? everyone has a seperate rehat marytada for himself/herself and walk inside langar hall with chappals on and bare headed but goras don't.... if they remove their chapals or shoes and cover their head while entering after reading the notice if they can why our people can't???? I said goras respect the religion but our own people don't they juss cum for a day out.

Same is the problem in gurdwara i visit. Girls come with coloured hair and donn bother to cover the head atlhough notices have been put. I once told an auntie to ask the girls to plz cover the hair coz i m young they won't listen to me she replied they've been told many times but don't cover the hair....and hence she didn't say, then we have people working in kitchen preparing food with chappals on.....that's not against gurdwara rules mind u ....but isn't it a beadbi? i pointed out a few times but who cares??? Then we have people just using one hand while taking parshadas......once an uncle with me was doing sewa of distributing parshadas and loudly chanting 'waheguru' and encouraging others to say so....in the mean time an auntie came and this uncle said to her while giving parshadas "dove hath karke lao ji" and she rudely said "i only have two have hands" suggesting that her other hand was busy......i was shocked at the nature of reply and the poor uncle said "we can't do anything" while shaking his head. Beadbi at gurdwaras it seems have become a norm and people are just happy at it which clearly shows that most of the people don't visit gurdwara sahib for love of guruji but just to mix up in the community on a sunday, sporting stylish clothes coloured hair. Gone are the days when people used to eat langar quietly saying waheguru......new scenes have emerged... people discussing all other issues except gurmat while having langar...none wants to sit quiet. It is high time we ask to ourselves "What have we made of our gurdwaras" and do some resurrection otherwise we setting a bad example for future genertion and future of gurdwaras seems horrible.

I m proud that Hardkaurwarriorz is a sikh girl. This is exactly the spirit that every singhni shud have. Well i wouldn't call my experience embarasing but indeed funny every sunday i go to gurdwara sahib coz there are not many youngsters visiting there and bibis have to find sumeone to help them in kitchen...... Once i entered kitchen wanting to do little bit of sewa in washing plates and after sumtime a bibi cums and says "put gal sun" takes me to main kitchen and says pointing towards huge containers "putt aah daal wale bhande vi dhone ne, koi jaldi ni pehlaan plates dho lai eh baad ch dho lavin aaram naal" the plates kept on coming as langar continued. After about half an hour or so i showed signs of tiredness and planned to leave kitchen checking time on my fone another bibi drying plates sensed it and said to another "ajj kal de munde taan nikamme ne, 15 mint sewa karke kehnde ne thakk gaye" made me feel shy i tried to stick on then she adds "aah munda bahut sewa karda, putt ki naam aa tera?" as the plates are about to finish coz langar is over she says"hun tu daal wale bhande dho de plates assi appe dho lavange" intending to do 15 mins of sewa i end up doing it for 2 hrs every sunday ...... but everytime i say to god u wanted me to do it more so made me do it and hence i return home feeling blessed and happy.

This is coz they cum frm frm illetrate countries like pakistan, but this is not gonna be forever coz their next generations are obvoiusly gonna be educated......if they can be dangerous even being illetrate what if they are educated? does bieng educated means getting rid of their islamic fundamentals by not tagetting our girls and their conversion? i feel they are gonna be more lethal once they educate their children as they r finding their feet in this country..they 've got some mp's etc in parliament and are doing well in buisness........ at the moment british are trying to cripple them financially but is that all they can do especially when these people have strong base here and are flooding this country by marrying their relatives and bringing them here. i read sumwhere that their long term goal is to make britain an islamic country...at the moment they are doing well but how long is it gonna continue? how are british gonna deal with them on religious front? i m keeping my fingers crossed for next few years...maybe we have a lot to learn frm all whats goin on here.

Honestly i don't trust islam, i strongly feel it's a fake religion. i just try to respect it coz sikhi says so although i fail in my efforts . What muslims believe is that earth can only be saved if all the humans can be converted to islam and for that all means are prescribed. one of my sikh friend has twice been asked by muslims to convert to islam once in bus while coming frm illford and the other time at workplace, although it never happened to me. muslims i feel are the biggest moorakhs after hindus. they think jannat is exclusively reserved for muslims and rest of humans are gonna burn in fire in hell. I feel muslims are a threat to humanity. niether can they live in peace nor they let others live. They complain of racism but are indeed the biggest racist. they call muslims as their brothers and others they call pigs e.t.c. they treat muslims girls with respect and percieve other girls as whores. They excercise racism in almost every walk of life. I feel every muslim is doomed to hell. I simply believe "a good muslim can't be a good muslim and a good human can't be a good muslim" correction: "a good muslim can't be a good human and a good human can't be a good muslim"

I know very well that Bhagat Singh's approach was marxist but at the same time he didn't do anything anti sikh or al qaeda style by killing innocent people . How carefully he planted the bomb in central assembly at delhi so that no one get's injured it was carefully laid plot not to kill or hurt anyone but to send a meggege to govt that modes of supperesion can no longer be tolerated. And didn't he fight for freedom of entire india like our ancestors instead of only for sikhs,or any particular community or state. As for Nehru's letter to S.Kharak Singh...that was in 1923...at the high time when sikhs were attaining shaheedis....and nehru was pleased coz it was happening for independence of hindustan what that matters is was nehru the same man after india got independence and athe answer is a big NO. He instead called sikhs as his dushman(enemies) and voilent whereas he labelled hindus as law abiding as i have posted the quotes in my previous post and when reminded of his promises he simply said "the times have now changed".

TRUE......But why do u guyz call him "mahatma"? he was not a mahatma he was a dusht atma. Gandhi always wanted to be a part of indian independence but the <banned word filter activated> faced hindu baniya was useless not even capable of slapping anyone back so he started his so called satyagraha which was not Gandhi's thinking but was based on ideology Namdhari Baba Ram Singh. He always cashed on sikhs' shaheedis ... on one hand legends like Shaheed Bhagat Singh shook the british with their grit and determination and on ther hand gandhi sang his song of non violence.....remember how british had to succumb to bhagat singh's demands after a strike lasting 115 days, how udham singh's,kartar singh sarabha's,sukhdev's and rajguru's shaheedis affected britishers. Even british knew very well that sikhs were the key to freedom of india and that's why they put nankana sahib and darbar sahib gurdwaras under hindu mahants where corrupt hindu practices began to be followed like idol worshipping e.t.c and dohra was not allowed to be recited coz it contained "raj karega khalsa aaki rahe na koi" coz it instilled passion for self rule and clever british knew very well that it is the gurdwaras from where sikhs draw their courage. And what did gandhi say after Guru ka bag morcha "congratulations! the first battle for indian freedom has been won" why did he say so when it contained violence? If Gandhi is the true hero why don't indians follow him practically? Why do they have an armed force with tanks,rifles and bombs...instead why not deploy gandhi's indian sons on borders and make them fight chinese and pakis with lathis and charkas? Why do so called "violent" sikhs comprise of 1/3rd of indian army? Here are a few of Gandhi's and Nehru's promises: "Let God be the witness of the bond that binds me and the Congress to you. Our Sikhs friends have no reason to fear that it would betray them. For, the moment it does so, the Congress would not only thereby seal its own doom but that of the country too. Moreover, the Sikhs are brave people. They know how to safeguard their rights, by the exercise of arms, with perfect justification before God and man, if it should ever come to that" (Young India 19 March 1931) "No Constitution would be acceptable to the Congress which did not satisfy the sikhs." (Collected works of M K Gandhi Vol.58. p. 192) "The brave Sikhs of Panjab are entitled to special consideration. I see nothing wrong in an area and a set up in the North wherein the Sikhs can also experience the glow of freedom. (Jawaharlal Nehru, Congress meeting: Calcutta - July, 1944) Here's were the Nehru's comments after freedom: After Independence Sikhs began facing racial slurs from leaders and the media. When Nehru was reminded about the promises he and Gandhi made to the Sikhs before Independence and all the broken promises since, he stated simple, "the circumstances have now changed." "Kya main taqat dushman ke hath main de dun (How can I entrust powwer into the hands of the enemies)." (Jawaharlal Nehru, 1961) "The Sikhs are lawless people and a menace to the law abiding Hindus... The Government should take strict measures against them." (Jawaharlal Nehru) In a circular sent to all Deputy Commisioners in Panjab by the Home Minister Vallabhi Patel, there were instructions that Sikhs should be treated like a "criminal tribe." They were urged to be severe so that the Sikhs should wake up to the political realities and recognize "who are the masters and who are the slaves." In 1956 all states in India were recognized on linguistic and cultural basis, however Panjab was the only state in India left out of this. In addition huge anti-Sikh propoganda compelled virtually all Panjabi speaking Hindus to deny Panjabi as their language and claim allegiance to Hindi, however, their knowledge of Hindi was non-existent. Furthermore, Sikhs felt the wrath of Hindu nationalism nurtured by M.K. Gandhi. After his death fundamentalist cults and organisations such as RSS and Ayra Smaaj began anti-Sikh propaganda. Sikhs were humiliated throughout national media and literature. Ayra Smaaj and other fundamentalist Hindu organisations published literature, held events and conferences which degraded and insulted the Sikh Gurus. A great effort was made to disolve Sikhism into Hinduism. In 1966 the Panjabi Suba Movement began, during peaceful agitations throughout the 50's and 60's over 250,000 Sikhs demonstrated peacefully and courted arrest to get their linguistic rights (this is 5times the number of Indians arrested by the British in the whole "Quit India Movement"). Darshan Singh Peruman was martyred whilst on hunger strike in prison. He demanded that Sikhs should be given more rights and more autonomy for Panjab. His martyrdom and noble sacrifice was ignored by the Government. Two majority Panjabi speaking districts were left out of the 1961 census. The now already shrunken Panjab was further halved to form a Hindi speaking state Haryana in 1966. Furthermore, the small remmant of Panjab was still denied the status of a Panjabi speaking state. Some of the prosperous Panjabi speaking areas including the capital Chandigarh were left out and given to Haryana. This was a direct violation of the Indian Constitution and pre-independence promises. Panjab remains the only state in India to have a shared capital and no control over its natural resources, water and electricity. GURU GOBIND SINGH JI PATSHAH said that once during when he along with singhs had to left ANANDPUR FORT .....when muslims were swearing by quran and at that time he told not to trust muslims and i guess it's also mentioned in dasam granth , one elder sikh gentleman frm southall warned me on baisakhi day.....i remember....he told he had lived with muslims in dubai for 21 yrs and told me that he found out our guru is so right!!!!

Rakhi is against principle of sikhi because a sister ties thread on wrist of her brother which means that he will protect her no matter what. But doesn't this show weakness of womanhood? In sikhism everyone is equal and women have equal rights as men.Women wear kirpans like men and are expected to protect themselves.Don't you know what Mata Bhag Kaur did and don't forget sacrifice of Mata Jindan (Jind Kaur). Women are not weak they are equally strong. In sikhi women are not expected look upon their husbands to protect them. If that was the case then what would be the point of wearing kirpans? Guru Gobind Singh Ji said when all other means have failed it is your right to draw a sword. So let it be that way. How would you know your brother would really help you in danger. What if he's not there to help you or runs away. Guruji ordered khalsa to practice arms and be able to protect yourselves. This applies to both men and women or Singhs and Kaurs. So why do we keep performing these useless rituals when our Gurus have clearly ordered us not to do so? Why are we bent on sending a messege to people that sikhism is also a part of useless hinduism by celebrating these festivals which are of no importance to us but on otherhand are a direct violation of our rehat. A giani of our nearby gurdwara sahib was telling me that some people are such a big fools that they even tie rakhis to Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's palki.......may waheguru show them the right path. So let's be wise and respect Gurus' orders and boycott rakhis and also encourage other fellow sikhs and stop following Bipran ki Reet. Now sumone plz donn try to celebrate BIPRAN KI REET especially so called "LIBERAL SIKHS"
