sakhi from suraj prakash granth .... 9th guru sahib went there in order to assist a rajput king in a fight .... that place was not conqured by any of the ruler as people there were masters of black magic and they use to worship goddess kalli .... any king who went to faught against those people never return .... ( when guru nanak dev jee went there women there change bhai mardana jee to goat with the power of there black magic ) when aurengzeb ordered this rajput king to conquer that area .... there was dissapointment in his kingdom and family ... then they seek help from the 9th nanak shri guru teg bahadar sahib ... to come with them .... and in the end when people there used black magic .... tantra mantra jantra all was failed .... even kalli didnt blessed them this time .... so there was agreement between the two kings and that place came under mugal rule .... the history of gurudwara is like this as in suraj prakash granth .... there was old sikh lady ... she use to worship on the name of guru tegbahadar sahib ... she made a balnket for them with hand ... when she came to meet guru sahib .... ahe asked guru sahib to plz be with her as she is very old and can die any day and she want to live rest of her life lookin at them ... then guru sahib asked her to call a painter and let him make a painting of gurusahib as its impossible to stay ... so a painter was called he made whole body of guru sahib but couldnt make the face ... every time he tried he failed ... so guru sahib made his face himself ... and when they gave that to old lady .... whats amazing bout that pic was it was live as it has movement in eyelashes ... it get closed and open as its any live human being .... and the movement in eyes was there as long as the lady lived .... that picture is still placed in gurudwara .... maffi deo gurbur akal

i dont know that my post have any link with the topic or not but i would like to share a sakhi from suraj prakash granth .... there was a amritdhari singh in dasmesh pitas time he use to come for darshans of guru sahib every day ... he was full shasterdhari had both banni and banna ... on the way there was mosque and it had a samad of peer inside it ... when ever he passed from there he used to think why guru sahib told us not to bow before them .... one day he decided he went inside take his jutti and gave 10 - 12 hard blows to the peer and then went for darshan of guru sahib .... after that he made it his everyday duty .... every day he use to give that samad of peer 10 - 12 hard blows .... this continued for one month full ... then one day he realised that what ever he doing is wrong that peer hasnt done any thing bad to him and he is hitting him for a month .... and he decided to appologize .... that day he went to mosque and bow before the peer and asked for maffi .... and at that very second that peer overpowered his brain and mind .... and made him mad .... he started behaving like morons .... whole village got upset what happened to the singh .... so they decided to take him to the guru gobind singh ... when they took him to guru sahib .... dasmesh knew every thing that happened .... they straight away asked the peer why he had done this to singh .... then that muslim peer replyed in front of whole sangat .... guru sahib till date he was your sikh he gave me blows but i couldnt do anything .... but one day he bowed before and applogized with that bow he became my sikh now he is not your sikh anymore .... i cant harm your sikhs but i can harm mine .... jiss mulim peer agge sarra muslim jagat sir jhukanda manatan purrian karwanda .... oh singha diyan juttian khaa ke we kush nahi kar sakde .... you should not go dear brother .... maffi gurbur akal

bhajji according to my manmukh mind i and guys around me use term modern sikh for those persons who tend to change sikhi whats suits them best ..... like a person who likes to call himself a sikh .... dont have hairs .... he is not sorry bout it but make statements which can even make a gurumukh think for a second that he is right ... thats what modernsikh in punjab as far as i know ... gurbur akal
