The funny part was the MC saying calm down calm down now.. lol Yep there was a time back in the day. When it was guaranteed there would be a fight. The reason was simple. . There would be guys who had grudges against each other. The wedding was their opportunity to meet their enemies and have it out with them. Then people started to not invite people that were known to fight. Hence the fights stopped. Even now people will make sure to not invite 2 people who are known enemies so they won't meet up and spoil the wedding. This was a Bhat wedding btw . They are known for being violent especially after a few glassies lol. Seemed like it was started by some goreh by the looks of it.

Yep with all this yoga business. Seems like an attempt to hindunise the Sikh faith. There is only one version of Sikhism. We can't have sects like 3ho. Who are trying to change the faith to their hippy and western liking. These people are clearly not Sikhs. Also there site is mainly news based which is copy and pasted from external sites. So does not cost them a penny to put up Sikh news articles. Gullible Sikhs are falling for their flattery. Shocking video clips are doing their rounds on social media of a horrific fight that erupted at an Indian wedding reception taking place at the Ramada Hotel in Wolverhampton, UK. The wedding took place on 12th October 2019 and members of the Bhatra community are seen in the videos of the reception. Whilst the reasons for the fight and brawl are not released, police were called to the venue in order to restore law and order. It's best to travel by train usually as it's a great way to see the country going through countryside and different landscape, villages and cities. Also you get to meet the locals and have adventure on train. Plane is probably good for something like Delhi to Mumbai. Long haul and overnight journeys. if your not well enough to handle the train for 18 hours can get a bit rough. But the trains have now improved you can get ac sleeper trains.

I know there is a number of threads on 3ho. But thought I would raise it for another time. Let's just look at some of the facts The Sikh faith is over a 500 year old faith with over 30 million adherents and is truly a world wide faith. All our major Gurdwaras and institutions are located in India. But here is where the shocking and most funny thing is. The people who represent us are actually 3HO. A small group of white people dressed in white consumes and yoga outfits based in Mexico. Representing the entire Sikh community of the world. Now you may think how are the scamming 3ho representing us all. Well the answer is simple. The number one Sikh website in terms of people visiting to find out more about Sikhi are 3ho website and they are number one by a huge number. Most of these people who visit are non Indian/Punjabi. But they just assume that 3ho is real Sikhism and they are real Sikhs. Not a group of people that have been classed by the Akal takht as non Sikh people. Yet people who are not even Sikhs. But some looney people who think they are and destroying the Sikh reputation by.making a Sikh website for their own profit and gain. To add insult to injury these guys under the false pretences of being Sikhs are taking in millions of pounds through gullible people some who are even desi Sikhs donating on their site. So not only has our entire faith been hijacked by 3ho they are also making millions out of it. These guys must be laughing at us behind our backs. Many don't have no interest apart from earning as much as they can from donations they receive Yet Sikhs are doing nothing to stop this group. Imagine if the number one Buddhist website in terms of numbers visiting was run by a group of none Buddhists pretending to be Buddhist and teaching Buddhism to everyone at the same time making millions in donations. All while being some phoney group who are Classed as non-buddhist. 3HO should be boycotted and all money they raise should be made public and investigated by the police for their legitimacy. Yet because they are white us desi people don't do anything. Akal takth needs to take action to remove their blasphemous website. As we are currently being all portrayed as 3ho followers. Sikhs need to fully investigate these shady people.

It's good to help in anyway. Does not need to be a regular subscription. But as a one off. Every little helps. We waste so much money on things we don't need. When we can donate to a worthy charity.

He seems like a good guy. A great inspiration for people interested in Sikhism. However im sure there will be some on here ready to criticise him for wearing the wrong size turban or some minor issue. He does not seem like one of those 3HO hippy types that are more into Yoga then Sikhism.

Sikhs seems happy to splurge on designer clothing, cars and materialistic things. Even excess buying of expensive takeaways. Many times we even buy this food from muslim owned shops. Yet we never think about donating to Sikh charities and good causes If we look at Muslims they are known for giving huge amounts to their faith based charity. Many of these charities are missionary type. Where they use the money to distribute leaflets ect. Yet Sikhs wont even donate 1 pence to organisations like basics of Sikhi. Why don't we donate enough? Is it due to not trusting where are money will go. Or are we cheap skates?

Would you view Sikh suffering greater then Muslim suffering? When you donate to charity would you donate to Sikh or Muslim Charity. The fact is everyone is biased for their own faith. Hindus care and Hindus Christians care about Christians Why should Muslims not care about their own people more? Is not human nature.

Why cant we all be leaders?? Ie instead of searching and waiting. If Each Sikh did something for the panth wouldnt that make a huge difference. One of the main things we can do is supporting organisations like basics of Sikhi. So they have funding to do more parchaar all over the world. I like their idea of building a visitor centre in Amritsar.

i have seen some videos by this group. What do you think about them? People are looking for Sikh leaders and role models for the youth. Are these guys good at what they do. I have liked some of their videos on their youtube channel.

The problem is we don't have large scale parcharic groups. Many would become Sikhs. But these people have no idea Sikhism even exists. Basics of Sikhi are doing the right thing. Only they need to do it on a much larger scale. Not token events here and there. They need to parchaar all over and regularly not one off events.

Maybe its time we had a parliament type leadership model Also each of the main communties of Sikhs could have their own leader. Ie Tharkan, Bhat, Jatt, Khatri. Lets face it these communities will not accept a leader other then from their own community. So we need leadership from each community who will all work togther as a whole. At the moment we have an issue of caste based Gurdwaras. Hence its divided at the moment. Not enough unity. I am not saying this is just a Sikh issue. Even muslims have alot of in fighting in thei mosques with who takes control and leadership. The Hindus meanwhile seem to be the most unified.

Has anyone been to this place. I know there's many videos on YouTube. But anyone actually been. Is it a pleasant place to discuss religion and politics? Or is it quite hostile and argumentative place? It would be good to go down and have some conversations with Christians and Jews ect to inform them about Sikh beliefs.

Many Muslims are leaving Islam. Afters years of forced conversions and Islamic brutal regimes. Many are waking up and leaving that faith. To become Sikhs and Buddhists. I know so many ex Muslims.

Women are the biggest converts as they are gullible and weaker. They can be easily influenced and manipulated.

That is also true. For instance at college back in the day there was a black Christian girl and a Hindu girl. These 2 girls use to hang around with Muslims girls. It was not surprising though as 90 percent of the college was Muslim. But they should have hung around with their own faith people. Anyway these girls converted to Islam by being influenced by their friends. Many times people convert from attending a religious event or occasion. Or going to a friend's Eid party or birthday. In the UK 80 to 90 percent of Islamic converts are usually due to marrying a Muslim. Hence why love jihad is biggest source of converts.

It's not about converting also. It's about teaching. We just should raise awareness about Sikhi. It's up to people if they want to become Sikhs. Many just think we're Muslims. So don't approach us and keep their distance.
