brother, we must also realise beadbi does not stop at the hindu temple but is in many forms sometimes carried out by us too!!!! how many of us make the effort to sit in the diwan of Guru Jee when Guru Jees swari comes in early every morning? how many gurghars have an empty diwan every morning or do not even have a diwan every morning because the local sangat are too lazy to wake up. These are some examples which are also beadbi, which many of us may not even think needs addressing. I think I understand what veer akaash is trying to say, in that do we only see beadbi when saroops are found in hindu temple or in hotels!!!!!

A gursikh once said to me, not matter how bad it gets, stick it out. Keep reciting Gurbani because that relationship with Guru Jee develops. Then as time goes on Guru Jee will bring you closer to Gurbani. What you don’t understand today, you will understand tomorrow!!!!!

Really a patit should feel from within that he has left his Guru or that his is a Baymukh! His conscience should make him feel that he is distancing himself from Guru Jee or has turned his back. With Guru Jee's kirpa his conscience will bring him back. We need to still show pyar for these people and encourage them to come back into the sikh fold through our pyar. Issueing rules and regulations which may outcaste them will lead to problems in the future. When it comes to patits being put in leadership roles, simple solution is back the right people. Stand behind the Gursikhs, support the gursikhs.

If i can have a say brothers, one will never realise how fearsome or intimidating a large group can be until you are on the receiving end. Observations from the video clips at the vadhbag singhh dera protest where the speeches from the young veer are said about tongues and fingers being chopped off anyone who attacks sikhi can be seen as intimidating. Brothers, we do not seem to be able to win people over, khalsa can win the love of papis. Bhai Fauja Singh spent months with some people who were doing beadbi of the pavitar saroop of Guru Granth Sahib ji to bring them back on track. Today these people are pooran gursikhs and it’s because mahan Sikhs like bhai Fauja Singh won them over. brother, i agree with your statement. some singhs forget that Guru jee said bhagtaa kee chaal niraalee. And we should stay away from swearing and derogotary language to even the manmukhs who have done the beadbi.

there are more avgun in the Singhs today compared to purataan times. You are 100% right no propoganda was needed for the khalsa name back then becuase it shone through the actions of sikhs. But that is not the case today. sikhs are still failing to get their point accross brother. there are no strong sikh speakers putting the Gursikh perspective forward. sikhs are still weak at getting the point accross in a discussion, this is where we need naam abyaas and gurshabad gyan which sadly the uk singhs are lacking in.

looking at the pictures of sunday. next time when my brothers bring back the pavitar saroop of siri Guru Granth Sahib Jee please make sure you have unbrellas and rumallas. someone should have brought those things from the sedgely street gurdwara sahib!!!! singh sahib is walked through the rain without a rumalla on his dastaar, Guru jees singhs should be tyar bar tyar!!! The anti beadbi group website say this. http://www.respect4guruji.co.uk/14.html On The Move Whilst Guru Ji is on the move the following should be observed: Five Singhs are to accompany Guru Ji at all times when travelling These Singhs are to remain bare-footed. One Singh is to do Chaur Sahib Seva One Singh is to go ahead of Satguru and sprinkle water or wet flower petals. The Main Singh carrying the Guru must put a clean Rumalla on his Turban before carefully and with respect placing Guru Ji on this Rumalla At all times, Guru Ji should be covered with a small Rumalla so that Guru Ji's Sarop is always fully "covered". The other two Singh walk besides the Main Singh – one on his left and the other on his right. In order to make the Sangat aware that Guru Ji is coming in their direction, gongs or other appropriate instruments are to be played or recitation of "Waheguru" at all times. When travelling by car, Guru Ji must be carried on the head. In each case a clean Rumalla must be place below and above Guru Ji.

Sikhs are not getting the right voices onto the media. All these anti beadbi campaigns but the opinion that siri guru granth sahib jee is a just book still exists!! does anyone want to work on that!! anyway brothers, i dont think the anti beadbi committees are worried about of this type of beadbi because it's a bit difficult to resolve. its the bbc and they are big boys!!!!

I agree with you brother. somethings gone wrong over the last few months with the anti beadbi campaigns. there are some new personalities involved too. where are the familiar singhs like ubhi. why are they not involved in these new issues?

brother please do not twist dasam bani to justify negative actions!! If you did break in, instead of smashing the idols last week, why couldn't you take the saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee out of the dera!!
