sorry if this is off topic it's on Buddhism... i been reading about it...and the new book im reading is related to it too. i knw they dont believe in god, but thanks for stating the the main difference. i couldn't really grasp it. was still tryin to to figure out the differences between both paths. their 'beyond' ends at the sunn? i think thats whats been troubling me since the day i started learning about buddh path. but isnt hoo-see bhi sacch means "Forever And Ever True."? is that what they dont experince?or does that word mean something else? im just trying to understand what u have said. dont Buddhists say that it's I Am (not the ego) which is realized then u are Present or in the present. r they refering to this "tuh ha" when they separate the thoughts from the Being and become the "watcher"?(when they say I Am/present) im sorry if i confused u more...but seems like u have knowledge about the other paths, thus asking u without really going in details. bhul chuk muaf karni waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh!

makes sense.. just one thing i wanted to know lil more about how does one get rid of karams? isnt doing=karam? anything we do falls in the category of karam. even doing "NOTHING" is a karam unfortunately lol so now tell me how does one get rid of karams? unless i have read a wrong definition. makes one wonder about what it really means to be jeevan mukhat=) i dont think it means doing no karam...

read the whole thing.. upsetting/depressing a bit to me..reading about the struggles...and all(maybe thats why most of us couldn't continue to read it.) s. how many of us agree with that? like it that he brings this up ...something most of the people (not just punjabis) think is stupid or degrading thing to do( no i dont see a therapist lol but just have seen many who dont go cuz they feel it's something very shameful ) ^^^ this part makes one think about life from a different perspective..at least it made me see it from a view i tried not to see it from what do u guys think?(hnji i do wanna know how u guys see it) thanks Rupinder singh i can soo see teachers using this book in schools/college to discuss problems faced by the character in this book.

it's an addiction...first get to know more about smoking...as u would of any disease (( physiological and neurological) talking or giving facts to someone doesnt always work. find out a lil more of how u can help

well maybe they think the same about themselves? did that ever occur to us? how many times do we say to ourselves..." oh gosh i cant believe i just did that?" or " darnit* what was i thinking?" and also "Peshi" word wouldnt be in the vocab=) before we criticize or judge...just try to think for one second about these things. we need to help each other out become better human beings and it's really our concept of the other person...we think this is how one should/ be or is and this is how they are etc etc..that leads us into deep trouble( disappointments ) very hard indeed may guru sahib bless us with gurmat=) but continue ur discussion..~ akal sahai wjkk wjkf!

One who realizes this, comes to taste this state of joy. God's humble servants remain absorbed in His Love. Following the Guru's Teachings, they receive the four cardinal blessings. They are the givers, the dispellers of pain. In their company, the world is saved. The slave of the Lord's servant is so very blessed. In the company of His servant, one becomes attached to the Love of the One. His humble servant sings the Kirtan, the songs of the glory of God. Just noticed he is at my uni! I think I might visit him and get some free ones they used in the study. Also nice idea sher-e-moreau but I don't think blasting kirtan is gonna help me sleep. Also I am very sensitive. I get woken up by tiny noises like the door closing, infact I am so sensitive that my alarm is my mobile vibrating!! i had a roommate who was like that. omv...it was soo funny. i didnt know wht it meant to be a light sleeper until i met her lol . thanks to my mom and her yelling when we were young.....that stuff really dont bother me much. unless im really tired or stressed/excited.. thn i cant sleep. well lets see if someone has tried what u asking about. (yes i would try talkin to that prof at ur uni and ask for recommendations. :console:)

(cant really tell these days lol) Mandeep99 u know a lot and very well informed about some of the things. i respect ur views. it doesnt really matter what references u give... to tell u the truth evrything that happens around, now these days, seem like a propaganda to me u can turn ANYTHING and argue its a propaganda or some sort of a false information. ...we all have our views and opinions so lets discuss in a manner where we arent hurting each other or pointing at eachothers short comming or lack of knowledge. books, news papers etc etc are written for a purpose...and all have agenda. i dont wanna say much...u all go on and beat each other up if u like...but please invite me so i can watch the show (with my popcorn) joking lol seriously read information and expand ur mind...rab dey rung dekho..enjoy and choose ur path but dont expect everyone to walk on the same path as u! i dont mind reading all different views.
