what is the point of seeking hatred?...the temple is there...if it is not hurting anyone, then what is the point of just critiscing it. We already know where the real truth lies...and with time, Truth will always prevail...until that time does arrive, focus on ourselves, on how we can educate ourselves on not seeing others as "enemies" ....such words just lead to hatred and ignorance. Just cuz a person has hatred inside of him, are you going to follow his lead and also start to blossom hate in yourself? or are you going to take the lead and not follow what others have said, and live today..as Guru sahib wants us to live, as proper sikhs of his, to live in a peaceful manner, along with tolerance and to approach each sitaution with an open-mind? let us concentrate on ourselves, preach love and do what God has ordered us to do.

keep your head up(Y)....walk, live, talk, eat, pray in chardi kalaa ... your beautiful friend...don't be scared....it is your crown...wear it proud...others will surely compliment you.

a sikh...the entire world population is a sikh...not a gursikh....but a sikh...sikh-> learner...everyone in this world is a learner (thank guru sahib, even with the name of the religion sachay patshah did not discriminate against anyone)...even the "monay" as you like to describe God's creations...are learners... not everyone is destined to take amrit, the select few, the lucky ones with the grace of God are able to receive the blessed amrit. just because how they look, should not matter and nor should it be judged...the way a person's character is, that will determine what you think of a person. Harsimran Singh, that is a good point...my last instructor, had stressed that point almost everyday. Discipline is key, with that you are able to control your energy and use it when needed. However, it is up to the parents to put their children in these types of activites/sports to make them active..cuz sometimes kids just goto school get bullied and keep hush hush..and for a few..some take action. I also blame...racist comments made by our elders.....my little cuzzins are petrified when they see black people...cuz my grandma/relatives chachay, mhamay whoever....Scare the living crap outta these kids, using the black stereotypes, black people are bad, sell drugs they have guns there violent and blah blah blah... that also contributes to the fear of the younger kids. especially where i live (canada).

waheguru jeoo... though, i no nothing..i agree..Papi... but..it doesn't mean...i am taking this "help" as my own pride....luckily...Guru sahib has taught me to thank God instead of myself for accomplishing goals...hence the name.. however i do not say i am perfect ...i am merely an <banned word filter activated>, i have asked for help from the sangat...because i know nothing and just barely new to this religion and just seeking some help on "typical" behaviour that has affected the entire world. i never meant to disrespect you in any way...if that is what you got from the comments that were said. and for the guest..above...i totally agree...everyone shud do their part on influencing the people around them to do this (godly stuff) and that. but the irony in this is...she is not a Sikh, ..she was born a Sikh but later her family had converted to Christianity. Though i find nothing wrong, well a little..but aslong as God is being remembered, its a positive i guess.

in my own opinion...i think this is a test from guru sahib....since all of us are put to tests everyday and test our sikhi..i think this is one of those tests..and hopefully with his hukam i will remain true to God.

hi well...recently or a year ago..i have took amrit with the grace of god. Before i took amrit, i was in a relationship, with this girl, and because i wanted to take amrit, we broke up, since i wanted to follow this path, i wudn't think it wud be right to have a relationship...but now a year later...and me and her have stopped talking...but like once in a rare while we'll just say hey how are you thing. Now my problem is....from what my friend's have told me..is that she is becoming ... "promiscious" ..and not like i want to brag or anything...but when i asked her out a couple of years ago..i already knew about her past relationships and what not...but did not bother me...and during our duration of our relationship...luckily i was able to convince her to stop eating meat/alcohol/weed...the things that we all did..but then when i became more excited about my spirtual side, i was able to stop these things..and was able to convince her aswell....then as a result took amrit now she is getting lured in to her past behaviour..in which is dissapointing me even though i have stopped talking to her..and somehow maybe even "jeolousy" i rno if that is really the word to use... but 2 weeks ago i started to talk to her again..just saying hello..and led to me asking her if she wants to accompany me to our school PRom as friends even tho, now i do not look at her in a "sexual" manner, but rather as friends and as guru sahib says to look at women as your own...in which i am currently still working on in my mind. annd she said yea for prom. then as these 2 weeks went by..a lot of problems occured...one of them was my brother who has a deep hatred towards her because he refers to her as a "s.l.u.t" and other words but he doesnt understand that i do not look at women and categorize them any more due to God's grace i am able to see other females as not objects in which he does...he is not amrtidhari in any way...a complete opposite anyhow...he finds it to be a major insult to him..if she accompanies me to prom..due to their sitaution...anyhow...being that it is my brother, i have agreed...and ttold this girl that..just Forget about me...and surpsingly her reply was.. Ok?done...a complete shock...but now as i think about it...maybe guru sahib doesn't want me to be affiliated with her...so he has caused these "problems" .... but my question is...how come i feel sad, like dissapointed....i wish i cud help her out once again, and do not want her to back to the old lifestyle...of partying and w.e....but now rno..and at the same time my brother is mad at me for even talking to her again..cuz of his hatred....but irno ...any suggestions??

God will love you no matter what, he will give you chance after chance.... if you take the inititive of thanking god for everything...and do simran..you'll have fun.... simran..is not a chore my friend..that is how ur thinking about it..since u want these "anand" and so on....do simran ...or paht with compassion...be amazed of how god is able to do this..and u will surely find anand just think POsiTIve!!

this body, is not ours, we are just "renting" it, for example..when you rent a car and if you do some tampering with or damage it, you will pay for it...same thing here...you abuse your body, you will regret it my friend... w.e you have ..leave it alone...will you look prettier with this? it is a statement, on your hand u want ik onkar engraved...but why..that is why Guru sahib, our father has given us the Karra to remind us not to do evil...you want to recit Ik-Onkar regualry if it is on ur hand, get a mp3 player start listening... dont get a tattoo..if you do, your hair is to be shaved in that particular region so the needles aren't disturbed by the hair and for quality purposes. Why don't you do ardas and just ask god if this right or wrong?....guru sahib has already told us not to tamper with our body. If you get a tattoo you are going to be the next victim of mainstream society... we as sikhs are suppose to be distinct, not act like everyone else.

yea..you should be like..."well you want me to go out and do drugs and come home at amrit vela being hammered..or me waking up doing something that will benefit all of us as a whole afterwards?....just talk to them first...see what the issue is....if ur nitnem is too loud...find another place in the house that can seclude you from ur housemembers...they do not allow u togot the gurdwara everyday? because they wont give u the car or drop you off? take a bus? call a cab? and if it is a really big issue..i suggest get a job...find a place...your 18? you goto uni/college? live on campus...guru sahib will always help you

and ppl do not report Ghosts in their house...simply because u dont kno if there are any ghosts.....the effects of these "ghosts" are ..when ppl indulge them selves into things that are prohibited by guru sahib, or for ppl that cannot stand things that are related to god (place of worship, a devotee, etc).

okay, ..i am not saying i am an expert ..i am just saying..keep focus on guru sahib, cuz he is the only one that will protect....but ...as for seeing those things...it can be the cause of so many things... i am only sharing what i myself have seen....and i did not say paht will not protect us...i have urged our brother to take amrit..to rely on guru sahib my friend.dalsingh...the people that keep this garbage in their homes...do not realize it...since these paranomal stuff is not seen, they are unhappy cuz they do not have the love of god in their house...you can also see the acts created by these things...when u see a lot of "kam,krodh,lobh etc....these are the acts that are committed when the lord is not rememberred and these prayth that haunt ppl, tend to encourage ppl to do this without them even knowing. and by the way ...the stories that our brother is telling us, shows that paht is protecting him, sicne they do not come near him...and if they do come near him...they would either burn because of the spirtual state that our brother is in but if his spirtual level is not strong they will effect him/family...but..in order to get rid of them...a lot of bagti is to be done.

oh waheguru my friend...if it wasn't for these ghosts i would of never taken amrit... These ghosts, prayth or w.e...they are ....i have experienced them aswell...so has my family... I am guessing someone has done Black Magic to your family, that is why they are there to distract you...or maybe their is meat/alchol/drugs in the house, since that is what they follow....but yea..another post has already said..recite Bilawal Mahala 5 "Taathee Vao Na Lagee" do that shabad...also...try to notice any differences in the people that live in your house, see who gets "mad, sad, angry fast"....and also...get water...get a kirpan ..and put the kirpan in the glass with the water..and keep doing any paht...especially mool mantra....do it for a period of time...and walk around your house sprinkle it everywhere. Also if you can...get all the people that live in the house...to get together..and recite mool mantra..indiviudally and out loud. But however..if these ghosts, are not of the "bad" ones...they are just prolly wandering through...since..they are EVERYwhere....the "ghost" population is much more numerous then the human population...but if no harm is done...just keep doing your nitnem...but i seriously recoomend u to take Amrit asap.
