  1. gurfateh ji veer ji, aint it against sikhi to wear kirpan around your neck bcuz if u wear it around your neck it just turns into a necklace and not a shastar :T: and aint kirpans meant to be sharp, so how can small 4inches kirpan be sharp. Kirpans are for self defence and guru ji knows when it will come in handy. plzzz correct me if am wrong. bhul chuk maaf gurfateh

  3. gurfateh ji very true My uncle ji's 3 sons in panjab are into drugs hardcore, they dont care about anybody or anything else but drugs and yet they meant have pugs on their heads. @ This is where our sikhi is going. "Kutha huka, charas tamaaku. Gaaja topi taarri khaaku. Inn ki orr na kabahu dhekke. Rahetvant jo singh bisekhe." "Meat, all forms of intoxicants (including tobacco and alcohole), wearing of hats and doing the pretense of rubbing soil on the body. A Singh with excellent rehat doesn't accociate with people who partake in these things."

  13. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Hanji, I recently received some leaflets from Bhai Dharam Singh Khalsa Trust. I think they got my address from Damdami Taksal’s Khandedhaar Magazine. Neways, pics of Shahed’s Children inspired me 2 write that poem. The Trust is run by Sandeep Kaur Kaashtiwal, she was a Karkoo Singnee and spent few years in jail. Now she runs this Trust which is named after her Shaheed Husband. Her story was published by Damdami Taksal. At the moment they are changing and extending their building. The Trust looks after about 150 children from shaheed families. Sandeep Kaur can be contacted on dharamsinghkhalsatrust@rediffmail.com Money can be donated straight to Bank Account Number (1433) 2419 Bank of Panjab, Branch Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar I haven’t actually sent any money yet, but have decided when I go (which will hopefully be soon) to Panjab, I will go and give money myself and also meet those children who have lost all their families and have no one but Guru. I feel it is our duty to give them some money (at least our Daaswand) if no more. Shaheeds gave their Blood for us, what are we doing for them? Shaheeds had performed their duties long ago. Now it is the need of the hour to fulfil our duties. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  14. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Hanji, Maryada of Akal Takat is the supreme and should be followed by every sikh. Why, because Akal Takhat Sahib is our supreme authority and we must accept orders from Takat for unity of the Panth. It makes me mad when people say that marayada is corrupt We can give shaheedyas in 1984 for Akal Takhat Sahib, but we refuse to follow rehat marayada from same Takat. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  15. My dad was a proud Singh One dark unfortunate night there was a knock on our door It was a mob of angry people They all attacked my daddy with sharp weapons They set him on fire in front of my eyes My dad is gone, he is a Shaheed But not to worry, Guru Gobind Singh ji is my father Don’t feel sorry for me, I am daughter of a Shaheed My mum was a proud Singhnee, she taught me sikhi In broad daylight, she was abducted by the police The same police that was created to protect us, took away my mummy That was the last time saw her, no one knows where she is Will she ever come back? By not to worry, Mata sahib Kaur ji is my mother Don’t feel sorry for me, I am daughter of a Shaheed My elder brother was a proud Singh He was also kidnapped by the police, for being a Sikh But my brother came back In form of a Shaheed His body was dumped in a ditch His beautiful Dastaar and Bana were full of blood I wiped blood from his face with my chuni No one knows what they did to him But not to worry, Singhs in the Khalsa Panth are my brothers Don’t feel sorry for me, I am daughter of a Shaheed Those are my childhood memories, I have grown up now I am a proud Sikh, just like my mum, dad and brother I live in this place where they look after children of Shaheeds I have been to school but cannot study further because it costs too much I am at a marriageable age but which respectable amritdari family will have me? Will I ever have a family of my own where I can live happily ever after? But not to worry, Guru Khalsa Panth is my family Don’t feel sorry for me, I am daughter of a Shaheed
