I totally agree with u.In one of his article he called Guru Gobind Singh ji as "hindu" warrior. He is a puppet of GOI.But he proved everything of GOI version of 84 events wrong in his book.

I read in "sikh history" by khuswant singh that rajiv gandhi in one of his speeches told people that 700 Indian soldiers were killed in the operation.Thats why army was so mad that they killed every sikh they saw.Its a pretty big number, isn't it? Khuswant singh is the biggest fool, and should be shot, or should be burn alive. As he drinks Alcohol while listening to Bani and he called Sant Ji a fool and the Mov ement a waste of time. He said Khalistan will never be. I know this as I saw this on TV. He had a bottle on hes table while he was drinking alcohol, and he was playing Rehas Sahib, and he said I do this every night. So don't buy hes books. He works for GOI. Thnx for the info.I know he drinks and not a good guy.I like that guy cuz he was the only guy who stood in parliament to ask for justice for 84 roits.He was the only guy who stood in parliament to point out all the flaws in the Government white paper for operation blue star.He gave a nice account of the events for 1984 in his book.He straightaway proved that government arugument is full of flaws.He gave away his parliament position after delhi roits.The most pathetic thing was NOBDY in whole of parliament stood with him to ask for justice. I have his speech he gave in parliament.I will post it soon. I am not pro-khushwant, but I like the way he writes.I like him as an author.I dont consider him a sikh.The nice thing abt him is that he stood for sikhs when AKALIS and NAHANGS and ministers like buta singh were goin against SIKHs. The worst thing abt him is that he never understood the personality of Sant ji.He praised sant ji for makin youth come back to sikhi.He praised him when sant ji said"first become khalsa(i.e keep kesh and take amrit) then ask for khalsa raj.....cut hair(monee) asking for khalistan doesn't make any sense". But then he started posing him as if he(sant ji) is creating a rift between hindus and sikhs. So, i just wanna say here that he is worst as a sikh(though he has kesh) but he is good as an author. Sorry if i offended anybdy.

Indian forces used tanks, helicopters and all means they cud use....so they managed to get in.Sant ji and Sikh soldiers had only guns, so here lies the huge difference.

I totallly agree with u.This is what i wanted to listen.I just asked this question cuzz many of my amritdhari frndz dont wear sharp kirpan as they say this(kirpan) is symbolic.But i liked ur reply and I am proud of you . I think we should wear sharp kirpan all the time as prescribed by guru ji.Guru ji straightaway told us in his bani that a keshdhari sikh without sashtars is like a sheep so we have to carry sashtar or sashtars. I have a very little knowledge about this concept.But I just wanna know how do u decide about the kind of kirpan u should wear.Like in skools and airports why do we wear blunt kirpan?I can understand the airport concerns but wht abt skool.I have seen few amritdhari sikhs wearing blunt kirpan while sleeping too.I just want to understand that the kirpan given by guru ji is symbolic or it has some practicality also. I have read somewhere that it is symbolic (as a gift) as if guru wanted us to carry sashtars he may have suggested us the 'bandhooks' also as they were available at that time. But I have heard in bani guru ji saying that if u dont carry weapon u r like sheep.So i am just confused here.

Its gr8 that these things are sellin again.People will get to know about speeches of grt saint and soldier Sant ji.But media will always pose umm as "millitants". This is pathetic that nobdy talk abt Sant ji in India.nobdy talks abt 84 events.people look at umm (who talks abt 84)differently as if they r "terrorists".I myself was very very ignorant abt all this (84 thing). My grand maa beleives in sant ji a lot.She is his gr8 admirer. So she gave me a book abt him which helped to understand sant ji's great service to panth.

I have seen many amritdharis wearing symbolic(blunt) kirpan in everyday life.But Guru ji said , "if u have kesh and u do not have sashtars, u are just like a sheep".So i was just curious whats the cyber sangat's views abt this.Whether we should wear just symbolic kirpan or we should go ahead and wear actual kirpan all the time.
