  1. As more and more of these rich 'secular' Hindus come into power in the west, I have a bad feeling in my stomach for Sikhs everywhere... we have no influence in comparison. ?
  2. BJP harlot Kangna has finally been blocked by twitter. Didn't read the whole article but I think she was saying offensive things about Bengalis and Mamta Banerjee. A few weeks back she posted a tweet about the farmers saying that the cancer(sikhs) has been identified and needs to be eradicated. She was basically calling for genocide. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9541329/amp/Bollywood-actress-Kangana-Ranaut-accuses-Twitter-racism-account-suspended.html
  3. Twitter has removed tweets criticising the Indian government. India looks like hell atm, they've turned parks into cremation grounds, dead bodies flying out of ambulances etc "The removal of dozens of tweets seen to be critical of the Indian government's handling of the coronavirus pandemic is putting people's health at risk and quashing dissent, lawmakers and human rights activists said on Monday. Twitter withheld some tweets after a legal request by the Indian government, a company spokeswoman told Reuters on Saturday. These included tweets from a lawmaker, a minister in the state of West Bengal, and a filmmaker. 'Suppression of information and criticism of government is not only dangerous for India but it is putting people around the world at risk,' said Mirza Saaib Beg, a lawyer whose tweets were among those withheld. 'Freedom of inquiry is an intrinsic part of freedom of speech and expression. These restrictions are further reflective of the weakening of all institutional spaces in India,' said Beg, who is studying at Britain's University of Oxford. India's ministry for information technology did not respond to a request for comment. The country's new coronavirus infections hit a record peak for a fifth day on Monday, rising to about 353,000 cases. There is mounting criticism that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government and state authorities let their guard down earlier this year, allowing big religious and political gatherings to take place when cases fell to below 10,000 a day. 'Questioning the government of India's decision to allow mass gatherings ... where people from all across the country gathered and violated COVID safety protocols ... cannot be called to be violating any laws of the country,' said Pawan Khera, a spokesman for the opposition Congress party, whose tweets were also withheld. The law cited in the government's Twitter request is the Information Technology Act, 2000, which allows authorities to order blocking of public access to information to protect 'sovereignty and integrity of India' and maintain public order. Requests from the government are reviewed under Twitter's rules and the local law, a spokeswoman for Twitter told Reuters. There is a 'lack of transparency' in the government's order, said the Internet Freedom Foundation, a digital rights group in Delhi. 'What is clear is there are more directions being issued across social media platforms in India,' it said in a statement. Twitter has about 17.5 million users in India. In its most recent transparency report for the six months to June 30, 2020, Twitter said it had received 42,220 legal demands to remove content from 53 countries, with most of the requests coming from five countries including Russia, India and Turkey. Earlier this year, the social media giant withheld dozens of accounts on the request of the Indian government on grounds that users were posting misleading content related to farmers' protests near Delhi, aiming to incite violence. But Twitter did not fully comply with the government order to take down more than 1,100 accounts and posts, saying it had not blocked all of the content because it believed the directives were not in line with Indian laws. Following the face-off with Twitter earlier this year, the Indian government unveiled tougher rules to regulate big social media firms that it said were needed to hold the companies accountable for any misuse or abuse. 'We all would prefer free spaces to objectively critique power in the offline as well as online space. However, both spaces are increasingly shrinking,' Beg told the Thomson Reuters Foundation " https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9511529/India-Morgues-run-stretchers-deaths-hit-2-800-day.html
  4. Not sure if you know but yesterday there was a lot of angry Hindus on Twitter. A Ex Muslim Armin Nawabi uploaded inappropriate images of Kali Mata in s3xual positions and winking etc Hindus in return are doing their usual thing and sending him threats and insulting the guys mother etc. The guy is Iranian and had uploaded a photo of his mothers appearance before and after the Iranian islamic revolution and Hindus have photoshopped his mothers face onto porn actresses etc. Most Christian channels and ex muslims have a big % of Hindu followers and fan boys. A lot of these Christian channels and ex Muslims upload cartoons of muhammed and the Hindus love it, but now an ex Muslim has uploaded inappropriate images of Kali Mata the same Hindus are angry, Mohammed Hijab has tweeted about this hypocrisy as well. My point is, Sikhs should stay out of all of this, because we have a lot of portraits of our Gurus and other saints and female figures and people do a lot of sick stuff to religious images to offend people. Watching the videos is fine and reading tweets etc, but if you start writing comments then things might turn nasty, like this whole Kali mata incident. At the end of the day atheists are atheists, just coz they are criticising Islam or Christianity that doesnt mean they wont start on Sikhi, and you obviously don't want that. Majority of the comments under these videos are normally 100s of Hindu comments and Christian's but I do see the odd Sikh persons comments aswell. They make really interesting videos, but just saying ... Sikhs shouldn't get too involved in those kinds of things, or atleast not make their presence felt, because things can turn really nasty like what's happening right now.
  5. I'm here because I now feel that either the teachings, teachers, interpretations or the followers of Sikhism themselves are in the wrong or being guided with malacious intent. My use of word malicious is intentional because I have started to feel the maliciouness. My childhood Sikh friends have closed "Only Sikh" chat groups where they share Hindu jokes about coward Hindus, impotent Hindus, Hindu whores etc. I got to know as a misdirected forwards got sent to our common group. I've stopped going to gurudwaras because I hear and feel a common theme of country of Hindus, government of Hindus, cow-urine-drinking-rat-monkey idolising Hindus, coward Hindus and Lion Sikhs etc. I am here to gauge, know and hopefully get reassured that somehow an undercurrent of hatred against Hindus is not gaining momentum and hopefully is not perpetuated by the very gurudwaras. That my very good childhood friend doesn't think of me as a coward or belonging to a coward race. That they don't see my wife n daughter as a <banned word filter activated>. That they are not disrespectful of my beliefs/identity. When I say they, I mean my Sikh friends, colleagues and all the Sikhs. Are Sikhs somehow being taught this disrespect through the family unit, gurudwaras, community congregations, media? I am looking for intelligence, reason, guidance and true knowledge from members/guests who are not blindfolded by parochial view of religion and with whom I can engage in a civil and a thought provoking dialougue.
  6. I'm monitoring twitter right now and look what we found here. Imagine if they or any political party in the western democractic nations posted this about jews or muslims or any other minorities.....the outrage it would cause.
  7. Digital heroin emerging major threat among mobile crazy youth Yudhvir Rana | TNN | Feb 24, 2017, 05.09 PM IST AMRITSAR: Not only the substance addiction is taking lives of Punjabi youth but with the vast popularity and unabated use of internet, the screen addiction has also emerged as a potent threat for people of all age groups using mobile phones, which is causing major behavioral disorders as well as impotency. "There are over a dozen patients, with majority of young girls undergoing treatment of behaviour disorder in our internet deaddiction centre," said addiction psychiatrist Dr. JPS Bhatia while talking to TOI on Friday. Stating that benefits of social networking was far less than its harmful effects, Bhatia said it was hiding one's own true identity under the garb of a pleasing activity. He said that parents approach with sudden fall in grades of their children while wives complain about their husbands neglecting them. Among youth, the symptoms of screen addiction includes unconsciously looking at mobile phone, hand movement towards phone, relationship problems with immediate family members and living in a dream-like state. Giving example, Bhatia said that parent of one of his patients reported that their son spends hours in bathroom. Vaishali (name changed), mother of a 15-year-old girl screen addict, said, "I was worried to find major changes in my daughter's behaviour. She would spend at least three to four hours in bathroom and when I clandestinely checked her mobile, it was full of porn stuff and more than one hundred male Facebook friends that was an alarming call." Bhatia said that among adult males, erectile malfunction was a major symptom. "When husband and wife are using cell phone, they feel they are being neglected. This emptiness leads to marital disharmony," he said. Notably, a recently released government data had disclosed Amritsar as the top city among others for sharing sexual abuse material. According to the data, Amritsar took top place with more than 4.3 lakh "files of interest" - code for child porn - shared between July 1, 2016 to January 15, 2017. While Delhi was second in the slot followed by Lucknow. Talking about the treatment part, he said at the internet deaddiction centre, they give life skills counselling and advise on inculcating good habits while the male adults were made to realize the importance of real relations over the fantasy world of pornography. While agreeing to the addiction caused by mobile phones and excessive use of internet, medical superintendent Guru Nanak Dev Medical Hospital Dr. Ram Saroop said that over-dependence on mobile phones was causing frustration among youth and related disorders. Bhatia suggested to develop "role models" at the school level as the first measure to check the impending threat of screen addiction. "Students follow their teachers and if the teachers will keep the mobiles away, they will learn the same."
  8. https://twitter.com/amiiidonalon This rat has been using al-taqiya (deception) very slyly he operates a few "british asian" facebook pages where its all pro-islamic propaganda and jokes against non-muslim religions. If you analyse his tweets he has been following hindu and sikh girls on twitter for a 2-3years and pretended to be a Sikh chatting dirty to girls and then all of a sudden start of last year he started to show his true colours and islamification agenda by posting pro-islamic tweets pretending to have "reverted" to islam. We need to make Sikh girls aware of such tactics.

  11. I was looking across twitter and analyzed which community made the most anti-sikh remarks and found the vast majority of anti-sikh material is coming from muslim twitter users of desi asian decent and in the teens to 20s age range. I was wondering do you guys find these guys anti-sikh, racist and offensive? Or do you find it acceptable or tolerable? What should be the right response to these people? Get the authorities involved or post muslim jokes and make their Muslim identity made fun off?
