YOUTH KEERTAN DARBAAR

WEDNESDAY 16th NOVEMBER

DMU Sikh Society, University of Leicester Sikh Society, Young Sikhs Leicester, Leicester Saadh Sangat and Cov Khalsa present:

LEICESTER YOUTH KEERTAN DARBAR ON

WEDNESDAY 16TH NOVEMEBER

FROM 6PM TO 9.30PM

at Guru Nanak Gurdwara, 9 Holy Bones, Leicester.

During this event the Sikh museum will also be open for public viewing. There will also be various stalls selling merchandise such as cds, DVDs, books etc. There will be a lot of "Freebies" from the various stalls.

Also not forgetting chips and beans will also be served as part of the langar!

The Youth Will be doing Rehraas Sahib,

All Kirtan and Katha (speeches) will be in English!!!

Students or DMU, Leicester Uni, Cov Khalsa and Leicester Local Youths will be doing kirtan, and there will be special Appearance by Harjinder Singh Lallie (who you all know is well known for telling us our History in English)

and Kuljeet Singh who will be translating the Whole Hukamnama (Message of the Day from Guru ji) to us in English!

This keertan Darbar is supported by BBC Asian Network, The Sikh Times, Leicester Mercury, BOSS, and many other large organisations. Lets make all effort to attend

Is there any transport going up from around southall area?.. im not from around here so not too sure how to get there..  blush.gif

Hmm paji, im sorry im not sure if ther wil be sangat comin from as far as Sangat, however would be Great if there was anyone comin from Southall that could let us know..??

This Saturday in southall as part of London Sikhi Week Guru Ji has blessed us with teh opportunity to celebrate Guru Nanak Sahib Ji parkash Purb at Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Havelock Road, the largest Gurdwara sahib outside India. A number of youth Kirtanis will be attending, for information soon...WATCH THIS SPACE!!

We congratulate the sangats of Leicester on organising the kirtan program may Guru ji bless you and keep you in chardi kala. :lol:
