ohh yh and another question..

you know most of the parents say like ohh you shoudnt wash your hair on certain days because it shortens the days of your brother's life or something... etc!

is that true i mean is it because guru granth sahib says not to... or is it a traditional thing made up by the older generation or maybe something else dnt know??? @

...always been confused about this lolll

there's no religious reason for the fragrance stick. If someone finds it easier to concentrate and focus, then it's good and useful. If you don't want it, that's fine too.

As for washing hair: an Amritdhari Sikh should wash his/her hair every day. All the myths about not washing hair on certain days or not eating certain things on certain days are superstition and actually against the teachings of Gurmat.

Washing your hair on a Tuesday will have no effect on anything.

I would suggest that everyone read Guru Granth Sahib and see that Guru Sahib would never say anything like this. It's my suggestion that people should read at least one shabad every day. Maybe have your opening page as a random shabad on Sikhi to the Max or maybe have it open to the daily hukumnama from Sri Darbar Sahib.
