Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh,

i just wanna say that everyone always goes on about the bad things that go on with Sikhi in Kaljug..i.e divisions, corruption, lack of parchar, spin off sects...

but i think we should also celebrate the good things aswell....

the good things of this beautiful message which was brought to this sansaar by Guru Nanak Dev Ji....

the universal message which became the Guru Granth Sahib (the best kept secret in the world) for all of mankind regardless of race, gender, age, caste, status,colour...

the message which recognises that nirankar is in everyone...

a message which is the key to the ultimate treasure and upon following, the way out of this 'matrix'

the amrit which was given to Guru Nanak Dev Ji in his presence

हउ ढाढी वेकारु कारै लाइआ ॥

ha-o dhaadhee vaykaar kaarai laa-i-aa.

I was a minstrel, out of work, when the Lord took me into His service.

ਰਾਤਿ ਦਿਹੈ ਕੈ ਵਾਰ ਧੁਰਹੁ ਫੁਰਮਾਇਆ ॥

राति दिहै कै वार धुरहु फुरमाइआ ॥

raat dihai kai vaar Dharahu furmaa-i-aa.

To sing His Praises day and night, He gave me His Order, right from the start.

ਢਾਢੀ ਸਚੈ ਮਹਲਿ ਖਸਮਿ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ॥

ढाढी सचै महलि खसमि बुलाइआ ॥

dhaadhee sachai mahal khasam bulaa-i-aa.

My Lord and Master has summoned me, His minstrel, to the True Mansion of His Presence.

ਸਚੀ ਸਿਫਤਿ ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਪੜਾ ਪਾਇਆ ॥

सची सिफति सालाह कपड़ा पाइआ ॥

sachee sifat saalaah kaprhaa paa-i-aa.

He has dressed me in the robes of His True Praise and Glory.

ਸਚਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਆਇਆ ॥

सचा अम्रित नामु भोजनु आइआ ॥

sachaa amrit naam bhojan aa-i-aa.

The Ambrosial Nectar of the True Name has become my food.

ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਖਾਧਾ ਰਜਿ ਤਿਨਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥

गुरमती खाधा रजि तिनि सुखु पाइआ ॥

gurmatee khaaDhaa raj tin sukh paa-i-aa.

Those who follow the Guru's Teachings, who eat this food and are satisfied, find peace.

ਢਾਢੀ ਕਰੇ ਪਸਾਉ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਜਾਇਆ ॥

ढाढी करे पसाउ सबदु वजाइआ ॥

dhaadhee karay pasaa-o sabad vajaa-i-aa.

His minstrel spreads His Glory, singing and vibrating the Word of His Shabad.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਲਾਹਿ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੨੭॥ ਸੁਧੁ

नानक सचु सालाहि पूरा पाइआ ॥२७॥ सुधु

naanak sach saalaahi pooraa paa-i-aa. ||27|| suDhu

O Nanak, praising the True Lord, I have obtained His Perfection. ||27||Sudh||

being in the form of Khanda da pahul, the amrit which has the ability to free the soul from comings and goings, the ability to transform one into a saint-soldier, to become the child of Guru Gobind Singh and Mata Sahib Kaur and join the brother and sisterhood of the almighty Khalsa, the ruler of millions of galaxies.....

the same Sikhi that has and will continue to bring many souls into its fold..

Guru through his amazing ways tests his children everyday and

we have it sooooo easy but we still take it for granted...

but everytime we fall he picks us back up and guides us on the right path....

like a satnav/gps- it tells you what turns to take, if you follow the directions you're given then you're fine...but if you start taking what you think are shortcuts then you falter....but even then you are given further directions to help you reach that one destination-like Guru Ji...

so to sum up even if we have our differences....

Vaheguru is the creator of all and has created these differences for a reason only known to him... we should not let these variations get in the way as we're all on the same path,,,,,doesn't matter what jatha, religion, gender,caste etc

some may take longer to reach the same destination than others but what is for sure is that we're all on the same road.. :e:
