Hi to all, i was just contemplating a question and though you guys could help

When you go to hell is there a chance to redeem yourself, so eventually you could start the lifecycles again.

Also i was told Sikhism beleives in the devil and he too is called Satan, but does anyone know anymore about him.

Finally, Rajan told me something ws happening in 2008, does anyone know what that is?

When you go to hell is there a chance to redeem yourself, so eventually you could start the lifecycles again.

no this human life is the only chance you get to redeem yourself. and if you dont merge with god in this life, then you are thrown back into the birth-death cycle in other joons, n then finally come back to this human form after a long time. and this big cycle contiues until you merge with god.

NO, sikhism does NOT believe in the devil. the problem with the whole notion is that, when we say devil, we imply that its some external entity that is out there. BUT, gurbani says

sikhi does not believe in prophecies. the one who made and fashioned everything also has the power to change it in an instant without updating any of these so called prophecy books.

I heard that people are reading the sencheeaan and finish reading before 2008 because it is sri guru grath sahib jee's parkash in 2008 or something like that, i'm not sure, not that u HAVE to complete readin the sencheaan by 2008, its just one of those things to do by 2008. i'm not sure if this is true though.

Sanchian just means Guru Granth is split up into a 2 volume saroop, so it doesnt call for the same respect as a SGGS bir. (a.e prakash, rumalla,sach khand,etc) but it still must be treated with respect because any Gurbani deserves respect.

2008 = 300 years of SGGS as Guru and 300 years since Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, thats it, no prophecies, or magic avatars coming back.
