Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Sant Baba Karam Singh Ji used to live in the heart of the pathan community. The mujawar who was in charge of the Khanqah of a Muslim pir in a nearby town became extremely jealous of the popularity of Sant Baba Karam Singh Ji who was loved by all those who met him.

The mujawar began to incite pathans of the area in a variety of different ways by spreading false propaganda about Baba Ji, an infidel ‘Pir’ of the Sikhs insulting Islam and the Koran. As a consequence of this many Pathans tried to kill this beautiful flower of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj’s garden.

The Pathans began to observe Baba Ji’s daily routine. Baba Ji used to spend most of the day in his cave but would come outside and sit in mediation as well. One day a pathan went with a sword to where Baba Ji was sitting in meditation. The pathan raised his sword to sever Baba Ji’s holy head. As the pathan raised his arm it became completely numb and devoid of life.

The pathan began to cry and fell at the feet of Sant Baba Karam Singh Ji, who opened his eyes and touched the now lifeless arm of the pathan. As Baba Ji did this life began to flow into the arm once again. The pathan then got up and ran away singing the praises of the light of Allah, Sant Baba Karam Singh Ji.

Internet forums are an amazing resource however as with anything they are sometimes abused. So many times I have seen the jeevans and rehat of various Brahmgyanis being insulted by those who don’t even know anything about those Sikhs of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. We should all be careful what we say as to insult one of Guru Ji’s flowers is a very big sin which comes with severe consequences.

Beautiful.

The Pathans of that area eventually grew to love Sant Karam Singh Ji. When Sant Karam Singh Ji left their sareer, some Pathans found out and decided to go pay their respects at the 'jal parvah'. Unfortunately they got delayed but did an ardas asking for darshan one more time.

They reached the banks of the river a few minutes after the jal parvah had taken place and thought they were too late. However, the submerged casket inexplicably came back up to the surface for a few seconds before disappearing from sight, and the Pathans had their final darshan.

This was seen by 100s of sangat who had gathered there.
