Punjabi Sign At Southall Station

Why are the signs in chinatown in mandarin then? or the sign in brick lane in Bengali? Cos London is a cosmoplitan city, and it needs to reflect that.

There should be no foreign signs in any language other than english. The signs are there cos people don't know how to read english not to show people that this city is culturally diverse!

So you're more or less agreeing that having foreign signs up for the people that cannot read punjabi is a good measure, right? Rather than they get up off their backsides and learn the national language?
