one question to the "against" poster - did the bibian in Guru Gobind singh ji's time wear panjabi suits while fighting in your view?? LOL

LOL at some of these posts, I just read that I replied to it a year ago. People put too much emphasis on clothing, it's just there to cover you.

To above poster:

Mata Sahib Kaur ji Mata Sundar Kaur ji both wore bana, Mata Bhaag Kaur ji also wore bana.

I'm sorry.   I can't stop thinking how ridiculous this is.  I don't care if anyone agrees or disagrees.  But first of all,  not one single human goes to battle today.  It's 2019.  The young Nihangs are not preparing for any battle either.  They too are into technology.   The old Nihangs are just that.  Old and nomadic.   They may have the spirit,  but their knees alone will take them down.

The point is to be battle ready.

So if I wear my chola and kachera only, and people see my hair on my legs ???

How is that different than my husband's hair on his legs??  Actually my husband says we are the same.  And if I am willing to wield my sword the same as him, then why not.

However it is 2019 and I can use any shastar regardless of what I am wearing.  Bana, pajama and suit, or jeans and a shirt.  I will still defend and protect and do my duty as a Sikh.

Be demure!?! We *edited*. Like seriously.  Women throughout time have not been given their credit.  Today's woman will not sit pretty in a corner twirling her braid under her chunni.  Today, we are equally warriors,  scientists,  engineers,  construction workers,  teachers,  all professions, and mothers!  And I think our Guru today would say...

"My, look how my daughters have evolved.  Strong, worthy and equal. "
