My wife was on BizAsia.co.uk, and pointed out to me, that on the

Sikh TV confirmed for Sky launch in early-October report, it says:

Sikh TV will specialise in religious and Punjabi cultural shows including the telecast of kabaddi.

So does that mean, Sikh TV will be RELIGIOUS AND PANJABI CULTURAL? :o

Panjabi culture makes up of BHANGRA :o ALCOHOL :o MEAT (ESPECIALLY BAKRE) :o WHAT THE HELL?

Bhajee instead of jumping to conclusions, and start to make a big uproar, why don't you e-mail SikhTV first and confirm it with them?

Just for your info though, I have emailed them and they said it means like vegetarian cooking shows, and like general practical stuff in our day to day lives.

We can definitely confirm, that Sikh TV will not promote alcohol, meat, Bhangra etc.

We are a Panthic channel, and we will follow strict Gurmat maryada.

And vegetarian cooking shows, will promote vegetarianism not the other way around lol.
