By spreading false Christian Missionaries in Punjab are degrading the Guru Granth Sahib ji and attacking the legacy of Guru Gobind Singh ji, in order to convert Sikhs into their fold.

Khalsa Aid have always stated that after 10 years of humanitarian service around the globe Khalsa Aid would focus its efforts towards Punjab. Whilst we continue to carry out humanitarian relief work globally we are also setting up several projects in Punjab. The Christian Missionaries are misrepresenting Gurbani and using this to convert the rural Sikh population of Punjab, this has gone unabated for the last decade. Khalsa Aid is not against any religion, far from it , we assist non - Sikhs around the globe in any disaster. But we are deeply concerned at the lack of action by the Sikh institutions ( SGPC ) who were set up to counter such propaganda and to promote Sikhi as a positive way of life.

The rural poor Sikh population in Punjab is under extreme pressure from debt, drugs, unemployment, alcohol, HIV and the Christian missionaries, they do not have the time to think about the internal issues which are ripping the Sikhs apart. The collective failure of many organisations to set up economic support groups since 1984 has led to hopelessness in the very poor areas of Punjab ( Mukatsar, Ferozpur, Mansa and many other areas ). The social revolution can only initiate from the west. We are either filling the Golaks in Harmandar Sahib or we are creating an elite group of millionare holy men who are hording the funds for their own " holy business centres " AKA the Deras.

Khalsa Aid has launched Focus Punjab to raise issues such as Dharmi Faujis, Rural poverty, conversions and to to train young Pracharaks as social workers. Having been visiting villages all over Punjab since 2008 KA is shocked at the level of anti-Sikh activities and the rise of narcotics/HIV.

Tune in tonight to learn more
