Giani Ditt Singh And Faridkot Wala Teeka

Recommended Posts

Of course, Fareedkotee teeka was NOT written by Brahmins, but by Nirmala scholars with some possible Udasi influence.

Yes it is accepted by the Panth as valuable scripture, but this does not mean it is the final word or it is100% accurate.

Just like other teekas (Prof, Sahib Singh Ji, Harbans Singh Ji, Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji) are all accepted, but not considered the final word or validated to be 100% accurate - since Gurbani is Agaadh-Bodh.

Anyway, the original topic was about Fareedkotee teeka and Prof. Gurmukh Singh Ji, and not about Jeonvala and missionaries. Let's not digress.

Very positive statement.

Teekas are an aid only. The original scripture is SGGS ji. SGGS ji has a lot of santan terms. We just cann't wish those away.

Niramalas have contributed a lot for the panth. Sant Attar singh ji is one example.

Atheist elements like Jeonwala and his missionary friends will always be there as they are the ones who are spearheading

such propaganda against traditions of sikhism by questioning everything be it our scriptures, our history, our legacy etc.
