Sunday 10th April 2011 promises to be a rewarding day.

The sadh sangath will come together to participate in a sponsored walk, up Mount Snowdon with a view to raising money for the Sikh Charity: Khalsa Aid, to celebrate 12 years of Khalsa Aid.

This will help create awareness and raise funds for our work all over the world, including Haiti (supporting 7 orphanages), the continuing efforts in Punjab, supporting poor families and helping educate young children and possibly even in Japan (preparation under-way).

This event is open to all sangath members who are in a fit state of health. The walk will take approximately 3-4 hours and we recommend participants be 12 years old and over.

Families are welcome to come along and be part of this event. A train travels to the top of the mountain and back down again. Please note: if you wish to go on the train you must pre book your seat(s). Likewise if you wish to walk to the top but come back on the train, this also must be pre booked. Simply follow the link.
