Beard (Grow Again)

I cut my beard a few months ago and now realise I made the wrong decision. It was 7 inches long and had good even growth. I want to grow it back but I am not sure if it is going to grow back the same way. Can anyone tell me if it will grow back to the same length and in the same texture/strength it was before? And how long will it take to reach its previous length (full capability)? I realise I made a mistake and want to fix it.

How long is a piece of string ?

Probably will grow same or a little thicker an depends on how fast your hair grows, but at a guess 7 inches 1.5 - 2 years.

Roughly 1cm/month...so 1.5 years or so

Should come in the same as before (if not better)

Depends on you, I was clean slave tuesday and decided to grow my beard again. I have heavy stubble what most would call a week+ growth for south euro. I'd say not more than a year if 6 months even, I had a few inches beard come up in spring break grade 7 (so 12.5).
