Taboo subject

"It is a major problem here. People in our community do not like to talk about or plan for death, it is a taboo subject. The older generation thinks that preparing a will is going to make them die quicker. Or they think everything will automatically go to their son. However, this isn't the case at all,"

That is very true and whenever the subject comes up this is the response I get off my grandma: Bukvaas na kar (Don't talk rubbish) It is indeed an important subject because we all die one day.

Frankly there's no gender equality when it comes to division of legacy.

Even Baba's face similar problem while naming a successor. They usually have three-four close chela's who want the title.

I admire those parents who divide & declare their intention during lifetime so kids don't have great expectations?

Most will end up with family feud & legal dispute after parents depart.
