Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

This saakhi was told on radio by Bhai Pinderpal Singh ji

During the time of Guru Amardas Sahib jee there was a sikh who was sikh only for name sake. His nick name was kheer-eating sikh.

He did nothing except eating kheer daily from langar

Other sikhs complained to Maharaj ji about this kheer khaannaa sikh

One day Maharaj ji sent for & told this kheer khaannaa sikh

"you are gonna die tommorow morning". He was devastated. He just began crying and placed his head at Maharaj ji's Charan Kamal & begged

"Maharaj ji what will become of me after my death"

Maharaj ji told him " you already know your fate. you have done nothing which can save you"

This KKS(kheer khaannaa sikh) begged

"Maharaj ji your only one kirpa-full nazar can save me ; so why so much delay ; please see me with kirpa & everything will become alright for me"

Maharaj ji told him "you will surely die tomorrow

but there is only one way out.

go to jungle

collect firewood

make a heap(pyre)

light it with fire

& jump in it

& YOU WILL BE SAVED".

He went away in jungle

till midnight he laboriously made a pyre but

didn't light it with fire

now sunrise was just 2-3 hours away

he lit it with fire

but didn't dare to jump and

kept circling

In the meantime a thief came that way with the fresh loot of houses of nearby village

he saw him & came near & told him not to jump.

KKS told him the whole story

thief at once understood that this person is afraid of death.

thats why he didn't jump or otherwise he would have had jumped by now.

Thief saw a chanc

e for himself

he proposed a deal to KKS

that here you keep all loot & sell your Guru ji's word to me

& you go away & forget about jumping

KKS sold the PRICELESS BACHAN

& went away happily

this thief prayed in deep meditation to Maharaj ji

that i have done sins all my life

& today i bought your BACHAN which is infact priceless

forgive me for this but please save me. & he jumped in the fire

wise people say

snake , lion , saadhoo and thief never travel on a well made road

snake fears to be seen subsequent death.Lion has to attack & catch its pray without giving him a chance to escape. Saadhoo avoids ordinary people who just pester him to get worldly blessings.Thief has to save himself from being caught

but this kheerkhaannaa sikh was no thief & was travelling back to his village on a well made path. The people whose houses the thief had looted were searching for him

They caught the KKS redhanded with the loot & killed him

The thief was saved by Maharaj ji & he became sikh.

bhul chook maaf kar dena jee
