Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh ji

I currently have sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and sri dasam Granth Sahib ji senchi sahibs in my greh and would like to know how to do proper seva. What would I do if I’m going out somewhere or not in town.

I am starting to wonder if it is such a good idea to keep them In my house since I am having bad luck since I brought them.

Thank you,

Gupt singh

Keep the saroop in a separate room.  Before reading from the saroop ensure you have taken a shower and are wearing clean clothes.Ask the giani at the gurdwara how to do proper seva. I know one family that has a relative do the seva when they are away on vacation.

The Best Seva would be to Read and understand at least ONE VERSE every day.

For preservation, Ask a local Gurudwara abt how they preserve it.

Wrap it properly and place it somewhere where it wouldn't get dirt on them.

It seems currently You've only brought the Granths for just Show off. And you've not brought the knowledge with them. Either start understanding The Bani and gaining knowledge or You BEtter off sending them to some Local Gurudwara.

If You just Want Show off and No Knowledge...  Then just buy a Photo of some Guru and Start acting like you're soo religious....#TypicalSikh
