Lord ! Lead us out of the Darkness of Falsehood Raag Majh ki // (SGGS: 145) This age is like a drawn sword, the kings are butchers; Goodness hath taken wings and flown. In the dark night of falsehood, I see not the (luminious) moon of truth anywhere; I grope after Truth - and am bewildered. I see no path in the darkness; It is the obstinacy with which Man Clings to his petty self-hood That causes this anguish; Nanak asks: Where is the path of Salvation? - - except through the Lord.

Is it just me or do girls not keep there hair anymore? :D I mean no girl. They keep some long hair but if it gets too long then they cut it. And some girls keep there hair but trim off split ends and stuff. it's so disgusting because most of them are my friends too. I wish that more people would actually respect the fact that it is our uniqueness and girls these days should understand this. Well I just let out what I think is right. Thanks for listening.

TAKING AND BREAKING AMRIT Think about two words people put together Breaking Amrit. Some talk about "Taking Amrit" and "Breaking Amrit". Ask yourself, how can you take something that isn't yours? And how can you break something that is Eternal? What does the word Amrit mean in Siri Guru Granth sahib Ji? THE FIRST AND HIGHEST AMRIT Here's what I understand. Bhai Gurdas Ji says that God is inside us like fire is hidden inside the wood. When someone is blessed enough with the highest state and realise God inside them, then God manifests in two spiritual forms - LIGHT and AMRIT. That great and blessed soul experiences light brighter than all the suns and their…

It has been suggested that Sikh women should not be allowed to participate in certain seva. Answers from Gurmat to excuses for disallowing seva are given below. During seva a Sikh woman would have to endure Eve-teasing, jostling, or she may indeed be involved in sexual misdemeanors. GURMAT: A Sikh woman is less likely to be a victim of eve teasing at a Gurdwara, let alone Darbar Sahib, Amritsar, than she is at any other public place. Jostling should be brought under control by the management by hiring properly trained and polite Sevadaars who can ensure orderly conduct at Gurdwaras. To suggest that Sikh women will indulge in sexual misconduct during seva is an insult t…

Gur Pyareo this is a poem I wrote a few weeks ago for Guru Jee's shaheedi diwas... Peace & Respect, Summeet Kaur Guru Jee, I wish I had the ability to express my awe, respect, and love for you! How I wish I had this ability, I could truly serve you then... Yet, you still listen, you still forgive me and all the sinners of this world. You give your hand when I'm barely floating on water's edge, my awakened soul is forever full of sentiments of endless, growing gratitude... Who am I to speak of your greatness, your stories of sacrifice, the achievements, the gifts you gave us all? Oh Guru Jee, the longing you show, the purity in your words, the devotion which …

My Fearless Guru Tie the crown upon my head And make me your Sikh So we can unite brothers and sisters of all races And not be judged as petty faces My Fearless Guru Tie the crown upon my head And make me your Sikh So I can feel no difference in joyance and pain And be emancipated from these shackles and chains My Fearless Guru Tie the crown upon my head And make me your Sikh So I may transcend the grounds of this solid earth And evade the occurrence of another birth My Fearless Guru Tie the crown upon my head And make me your Sikh So I may surrender my head unto your sword And bleed for the one and only, veritable Lord My Fearless Guru Tie the c…

Written by a fellow GurSikh, bhai Anmol Singh from Mumbai, India This is an expirence with a Muslim collegue of mine who once expressed her disire to become my life partner. But some how I backed out since I planned to marry a lady from my own community. Some how I regrat this decision since no Sikh women is ready to accept me with Turban. Hoping some day some one would except me the way I am. Make a Movie called KUDI MUSSALMAANI I have read the article on this movie Ladki Panjaaban. KULDIP SINGH KHALSA ,have composed a breath taking, immemorable poem.He pesents this poem so that people get to know about this daring, resilent, courageous and colourful community. The community's clout counts globally. KHALSA-THE ARMY OF AKAL PURAKH ----KULDIP SINGH KHALSA Laid on the blood of martyrs cladded in splendid turbans The Sikh faith, immensely logical, proved historical. Popularily known as Sardar ji's Have borne pain with magical ease "As is God,so is the Guru and as is the Guru so must be a Sikh" Iron bangles in our wrists Wooden combs under our turbans Owning unshorn hair Even in unimaginable conditions did dare. Guru Gobind's brav…
