Thankless Human

Monday,July 3rd,2000 Stillwater,Oklahoma Yet again I have managed to pen down my present state of mind. I have been so ungrateful to my beloved LORD. Never did I recognise HIS Grace in all that happened with me. Never did I thank HIM for what had happened, instead always blamed HIM for anything which i judged as a wrong happening to me. Never did I apologize for the sins I committed, and yet HE,my All-Forgiving LORD pardoned all my sins once I looked upto HIM. Hatred and anger filled my heart, and the world seemed to be betraying me every moment of my life. Every time HE wanted to teach me a lesson,HE put me in a seemingly chaotic situation, and then HE Himsel…

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH saadh sangat jee, i read a story long back on a website, and surprisingly that was the only website where i saw that story. it says that on the Vasakhi of 1699, some people had doubts as to what Amrit would do to them. Gurujee being antarjami knew what they were thinking. at that moment in the sky,a group of kites/eagles was pursuing some sparrows. the sparrows came down and happened to put their beak inside the Amrit da baata. and then in front of the huge congragation, the little sparrows tore apart and killed the kites/eagles. thus Dasam Pita said "chirriyaan naal je baaj larrawaan, taan Gobind Singh naam dharawaan" (plz fo…

Love Your Neighbor

Love Thy Neighbor On a sunny morning, walking past the green trees Enjoying the beauty of nature, the sky and the breeze Adoring the creation, the rising and setting of the sun A moment when of no hatred, or the use of the sword or gun The naughty squirrel, the active bird, dwelling in the common abode Side by side, in love and peace, enmity is something none can afford Playful by nature, freedom since birth The bird chases the squirrel, and the latter runs forth How pitiable is man, O LORD of all, so hateful and so small Uncountable similarities exist, and yet no love for all They look the same, they talk the same, they even sing the same Inspite of this hatr…

Tuesday, June 13th, 2000 Stillwater, Oklahoma. I think I have sat down to pen down a few words of my mind after a very very long time. Its been ages ever since I drew my mind on paper. I dont know when will be the next time I do so. Perhaps today I needed to finally express myself. So far I was busy gathering experiences of this world, both good and bad. I have finally come to one conclusion, that if anyone can accept man/woman as he/she is, good or bad, its only GOD, the ONE who created man and woman. People will always pin point at ones nature, and insist on one to change those features of personality which they judge incorrect. This is not the case with…

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. - Eleanor Roosevelt Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh..... The One on the Bus I was a child, seven, when I saw You then From a bus You would gracefully descend Liquid eyes of doe, blazing of light Bearded and turbaned, a resplendent sight. So enthralled and thrilled was my heart I thought that it would never again start Who was this prince, from where did he hail? This King of Kings, in form displayed. Many years like pages had flipped ahead You were still in my heart though not yet in my head. You came to me again, to me so seemingly late Yet, Oh how blessed was t…

Gursikh Women Martyrs of the Anandpur Battle Enclosing Anandpur in a Fort, Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj initiated the battle for freedom and sovereignty. The biting sound of his “Ranjit Nagara,” a large kettle drum, shook up and instilled fear among the neighboring Hill Rajas. They had started considering Kalgidhar Patshah as their arch enemy and deployed several strategies to get him to leave Anandpur. The Rajas of the 22 mountain ridges (BaiDhar) consolidated themselves against Guru Maharaj, blew the trumpets of war and initiated regular attacks against Anandpur Sahib. However, the courageous GurSikhs warriors, under the command of our Tenth Guru, displayed such martia…
