Hello there dear one, I know that this is rather a long message but believe me it will move you as it did me. It touched my soul. This sort of messages are such beautiful reminders to us about how important we are to GOD and no matter what HE always loves us and hears our prayers. Have a wonderful blessed day and God bless. Satwant Kaur Faults are thick where love is thin. RELIGION IS LIKE THE BANANA SKIN, AND SPIRITUALITY IS THE BANANA. PEOPLE HAVE THROWN AWAY THE BANANA AND ARE HOLDING ON TO THE SKIN. God is always ever ready for us but are we ready for Him? God is always ever ready and serious in giving us anything He thinks is good for us, but are…

Guru ji, give me the stregth to go on Give me the strength to be your sikh Give me the strength to be a man GIve me the strength to take a Stand Guide me and take me to the path of the truth Take my soul as i give my head to you Amrit naam is what I crave. Without it, I dig my own grave. Forgive me God, for i have sinned Attached to maya, i have been. You have helped me in so many ways Saved me from being a helpless prey. Partying and Girls is all that i cared. I felt like the fox being chased by the little hair. I jump in the hole to bury my head in shame IF i had only known, you had already came. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! This is a poem I wrote last night, expresses how 'naam' is the only support which has brought productivity, peace, bliss, and love into my life :D Har Naam Adhaar (The naam is my support) I have no achievements, merit, intellect, nor progress. Kindness bestowed awakened this once widowed soul. Hope, desire, and support immersed with love lit the way. Soon the miseries of separation seized...instantaneously… Moments, and my widowed soul was wed. I was wed to the everlasting Husband-Lord. My Husband-Lord adorned me with jewels of devotion, grace, and humility. Naam became my support, Guru Maharaj Jee the guid…

Just an passage from a book that I thought was interesting. (Sikhs in the Eighteenth Century: Their Struggle for Survival and Supremacy by Surjit Singh Gandhi) "During the period from the death of Guru Gobind Singh upto the last few decades (of the 1700s), there is not even a single example of a caste group asserting itself against another caste groups constituting Sikh society. The utterances and policies of Sikh leadership in the aforesaid period all point to the irrefutable conclusion that everything was decided by the Panth and for the Panth. The contribution of the Rangrettas or so-called low-caste people is as great as that of Jatts or Khastris or anyone else. …

Episode No. 3 ESCHEW RETALIATION Once when Guru Amar Das was in Goindwal, Sikhs used to bring water for the langar in earthen pitchers. Young Turks (alien Muslims from the ruling class) would break the pitchers with mud-pellets shot from catapults. Those Turks were called Sheikhs. Their parents were aware of this activity. But they would not stop them. Rather, they enjoyed the fun. "O True Master, kids of the Turks, with pellets from their slings, break our pitchers,"complained the Sikhs. The Guru instructed them to use mashaks (leather bags) to fetch water. The Sikhs started using mashaks. But the young Turks would make holes in them with arrows. "O True Master, they …
