First of all Sat Shri AKal Waheguru Ji khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh I just wanted to ask my Sikh brothers and sisters whether Beef is prohibited in Sikhism or not.I heard that Sikhs don't worship cow although they respect Hindu culture and don't eat beef just because Hindu's also don't Also Animal worshipping is rejected in Sikhism although some sikhs respect Hawk or Falcon as is it is associated with Sikhism but they don't worship it. But Cow isn't considered a mother in Sikh Religion neither Sikhs worship any Animals. So My Question is Can a Sikh eat beef?I v heard that sikhs can eat Jhatka Meat not halaal meat?? UR VIEWS

WJKK WJKF Jio, I have been amritdhari for a few yrs now and of I don't pluck off my facial hair I will grow a beard. When I did not touch it in the early days I was laughed at and even in my wedding I was ridiculed. I don't want to carry on commiting a bujer kureit and know best advice would be from the panj pyare but to any Gursikh - Shall I take my kirpan off (pray that one day I CAN have it with me again) but still keep keski, kara and kachera becuase these I need and have the strength to keep. Thanks. WJKK WJKF.

I'm not sure if I've found the right place for what I'd like to discuss. Feel free to have a read and if you can offer advice, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm 22 years old now. I was Christened as a baby but my upbringing was standard for living in North East England and there hasn't really been any religious way of living (i.e. attending place of worship etc). Although, on record, I am registered as being Christian, I don't see myself as being Christian. I haven't exactly got a religion, but I do have beliefs: I have a wide range of knowledge of all of the worldwide major religions. I find sense with some aspects and not so much with others. I believe in God, howe…

WJKK WJKF important: There will come a time when bric nations will decide to unite together and built a central bank stronger than the IMF which poses a threat to the west. West ignite a war which will go nuclear in panic. Once one country has used it will be used an excuse for the 'full planetary destruction'. This is the fate of the humanity because of their collective karma.

I have recently been blessed with amrit for a month, but in that month i have master baited twice. I do simran and nitnem everyday, and follow rehat. I do sports and keep my self busy with activities but then on days I am not doing anything and home alone, I get random urges to do it. I do ardaas everyday to stop my kaam, but its not working. I know this topic has been posted many times but what do u say about an amritdhari sikh doing it.?

the first time I took Amrit, I was 5 years old. After plenty of mistakes and growing I had taken it again at the age of 12 from pressure (not all of it was bad but some auntiyan were really urging me to just do it even though my family was warning me of all my responsibilities) and just pure desire to want it. It was at a camp and they really motivate you well. I kept it up for a while and ended up doing many wrongful things afterwards. I’ve plucked my eyebrows because I started getting insecure and ashamed, and just some of my facial hair in general after I got judgemental comments even from my own mother who is Amritdhari, I’ve removed a small amount from legs a couple …
