WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH i was reading this story and thought of sharing it.... and really this story did open my eyess! A man was walking along the dusty footpath one day. As he was walking he fell into a well!! It was quite a deep well but it had no water inside it, hence there was no way out! The man thought to himself "how am I going to get myself out of this well?" Then all of a sudden, a long rope came down from above... The man thought "what a stroke of luck!! Thank God for that!!" Satsriakaal. I want to give to charity but... I dont wanto give online from my bank account coz i dont want it coming on bank statement... and i dont know how to use it anyways lol. But i rather give it over the post... but then again i dont have the time to post- without any1 knowing... But anyways i would be grateful if anyone can give me any other methods of giving to charities (such as texting over the phone or summet like that)... without any1 knowing and i would love for any1 to suggest me some Sikh charity web addresses and the actual addresses-just incase im able to post Thanks in advance.

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
