Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Sangat ji, with Guru Ji's kirpa, I have taken Amrit a little while ago. However, not everyone in family is Amritdhari - only my eldest brother, mother and I are Amritdhari. My father and second eldest brother are the only ones who are not Amritdhari. My second eldest brother says he is not ready to make the commitment. However, the only issue is my father. He says that taking Amrit and having the 5Ks is just a 'show'. wjkk wjkf ive heard that you can only do bhagti and recieve the gurmanter after taking amrit, and bhagti can only ever start after taking amrit, i have taken amrit but i have broken it, but i still follow rehat, keep my punj kakar, do my nitnem, read gurbani and do naam japna and everything and im planning on going pesh as soon as i can but i will have to wait until i leave home (long story) my question is has my bhahti started and have i attained the gurmanter or did i lose that when i broke my amrit? waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh

SSAJI!!! Is there any shabad or anything I can do to make waheguru listen to my prayers. My dad's family has made our life a living hell and I really want god to punish them for so much emotional and mental pain. They are so clever and there is never ending list of their sins. I feel so helpless. I don't know what to do to make them realize they're worse than animals. I am sick of their tortures. I know I can't do anything to make them humans so I really want babaji to give me strength to stand against injustice. I am hearing from childhood that there is no denial at god's house but it seems like god has no punishment for these horrible people. Please guide me!! thanks

VJKK VJKF! I went to a recent AKJ wedding and they did their laavan standing up. After speaking to a few of the wedding party it came to light that it is quite common within the AKJ to do their Laavan standing up. My question is why has this changed? All our ancestors have sat down and done the Laavan? was their anand karaj not correctly performed then? Bhul Chuk Maaf VJKK VJKF!

I know this topic isn't 100% gurmat but what is the process of inviting a kirtani/raagi to perform kirtan at the functions you are taking seva in e.g langar seva, house program, akhand paath? I am very anxious about a part of my life. I am in love with a girl and keep asking Waheguru if she is the one. I am constantly putting her name on a slip of paper, and placing nothing onto another slip. I then do Ardass and draw the slips as a sign of Waheguru's hukum. I sometimes draw multiple times so that I can get my desired outcome. I believe this is a false practice but have no other way ro reduce my anxiety. Need help plz

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
