SSA I really think I need help. I am not sure where to begin because so much has happened due to my problem. Basically I have a social Phobia Shyness problem. Whatever you want to call it, I have it. Its taken me a long time to admit that I have this problem. But I know now its time to seek help. Let me start. Ever since i can remember from the age of 7 I have been a extremely Shy person. at school I was probably able to mask it. Because most youngsters are kind of shy. But mine has always been on the extreme side. i have always been very withdrawn. Not speaking to other people or laughing and joking like most people. But have been the opposite. I.e. keeping to m…

Social Workers?

Gurfathe jio is anyone here a social worker? I'm considering it as a career. Right now I'm studying an undergraduate degree in a different subject which according to my research is accepted as being related enough to get onto the postgraduate social work course... If you work as one could you please share which field you work in and generally how you find the job, especially as a Gursikh, and is there anything that an amritdhari Gursikh may need to know about the job role, eg. do any aspects of the career conflict with Gursikhi at all? Also, where did you study? Finally, whats the starting salary and progression in pay like where you are?

Guru fateh! I believe in guru ji very much.I love to do patha but my behaviour towards society is very different.Sometimes i feel that these behaviour towards society as a religious person is not correct.I don't like society where everybody wants to see a nice dress, rich person & if they are not see like these then say that the person is gavar(godhi). Also i don't like society where people talk so much, there are so much formalities, like these they waste time. Jooth jooth duniya guman............ I love sadhasangat. But sadhasangat nahi mildi. Bin bhaga sadhsang na mila........... I have nice friends they all believe in god, chant god name but fashion sa koi nahi b…

I don't know how many of you have been to Soho Road Gurudwara recently (GNNSJ) but they have an exhibition in the new nishkam centre. In there, I saw something which shocked me yesterday. There was Baba Deep Singh Ji's Khanda and me and my friend were debating whether it was the real deal. Anyone got any info? It looks too light to be the real khanda but it does have the leather sheath which loooks old maybe indicating it was his. Please shed some light sangat ji..

After reading through a number of masturbation and lust problems, I was reading through a website when I came across a message which could be highly helpful. http://satnaam.info/2005/12/02/2-overcoming-the-effect-of-past-lives/ Practicing what this page says should help to put you back on the right path. May Waheguru help you.

Somali Immigration 1 2

So why do african muslims have tons of kids when they move to a new country and get free government money? Today I had a 40yo somali man ask me for "any medicine to help him in the bedroom". He had what looked like a 3 year old in a baby carrier and his wife with him. These people have no job and they want to shoot out kids because they get free American money? I don't understand why they pollute every nation they enter. Italy, France, US, Estonia, etc. I am completely full of rage!

Some Concepts Hard To Comprehend

Sat Sri Akaal Dear Sangat, I have always had some thoughts in the back of my mind that I have never been able to comprehend or attempt to even successfully comprehend and I was wondering whether anybody was able to share their wise wisdom with me of this spiritual journey of enlightenment we are all on. I hope my questions do not cause offence and I apologise for any ignorance on my part for any of the questions posed. 1) Still confused over the concept of guru's and waheguru, we worship towards one god. Yet the gurus themselves are contemplated upon through prayer. Does this mean we accept that as we all are extension of god and his energy/creation that the gurus are t…
