I know castes are stupid and they make no sense but why don’t the majority if not all chamars have Singh in their name. I come from a “jatt” family and even before I have taken Amrit my family kept Singh as their last name (no ones amritdhari apart from me, I’m only 17), even in school all my friends have singh either as their last or middle name, and my “chamar” friends don’t have it. Why don’t they have it? I thought they were Sikh as well as they have Maharaj saroop in ravidas gurdware? (I know all gurdware are caste free, but let’s be real they really aren’t)

Satn Few days ago I complained about my bad financial status. With god's and Waheguruji's grace I am able to repay my debts. I paid a very small amount but I am happy that at least I could start repayment. I am grateful to God and Waheguru.

Any mother of a toddler on this forum?I would like to know a little about your daily routine..Are you able to do nitnem? Are you able to go to gurudwara sahib on routine basis..I am not able to set a routine for myself and my toddler and sometimes it makes me frustrated. Any ideas on parenting.I have tried many times to get my lo to sit and listen to kirtan but I am not able to get hold of him.

Has anybody ever met a Ravidassia Sant? They usually wear all orange/peachy bana and I believe each of the Sants have their own Deras. I went to a friend's Akhand Paath and one of the Sants from this sect was there. His family members were devout followers of this particular Sant. I know this sect tried to break away from Sikhi at one point to create their own religion due to caste conflicts I believe? I was combing my hair with my kanga after washing my hair and I felt bumps on my head. After looking in the mirror and looking around online, I found out I have Cutis Verticis Gyrata (CVG). The only cure is surgery! The only thing I can think of (and what my mom says) is that I tie my joora too tight and caused this. Is there any medical person that can give some advice?

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
