Ok well i just wanted to say im a Singh well not a full one i wear like a bandana patka and have kept my dari short but have kept it, also fairly religious. Anywayz my story starts that early this yr i started to look at religion seriously and i found out soo much information that i didnt know before anywayz i found myself talking alot about religion and thinking about God especially before i used to go sleep lolz but then i started uni and since i found myself driven to do stuff like clubbing and partying, the 'typical socialising things,' i also drank and well i dont want to mention other things ive done, the problem is that without doing these things i cant see myself …

dear all, a bomb shell hit me, my 17 year daughter has demanded to see her birth certificate. all these years and for her to question this has totaly blown me apart........ i'm lost .... would any one of u ask your parent the same question.? ........ i have shown her the papers and it does say i am the real parent but now she thinks that a dna needs to be done.........in my anger i said ok but only when i am in my coffin................

Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh I was walking to a relatives house when a young sikh boy with a turban comes up to me and says 'why dont you go and be a f***ing gianee' !!!!!!!! :D The thing is he was smoking a cigarette and looked like a proper sikh, obviously not old enough to grow a dari. he was wearing a turban. Theres an amritdhari family who do sewa and stuff. But one thing bugs me, I know them well and they do dodgy things like pretend to be disabled and carry their baba’s disabled badge everywhere so they can park their cars on yellow lines. They go shopping and also run their own business and park on yellow lines or disabled bays so they don’t get parking tickets. When people c them come out of their car they look like pooran gursikhs but they are abled body abusing the rights of disabled people. Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
