bapu jee is like paying a respect word to elder ppls.. No big deal in it.. Old times.. my mum used to call grandfather as bapu jee.. and so does loads of ppls.. But that doesn't mean anything or hold anything against the 10th master guru gobind singh jee.. Remember if someone wants to diss anyone, he/she will find every possible way to do that even if it doesn't make any sense..

I believe that those ppls are the resident of amritsar city.. Remember Amritsar city majority residents are Hindus and they never felt hostile by sikhs while living there.. How i know? cauz i lived there the guy in orange bandana maybe the politician who supported sant jee from the beginning.. (not sure but 90% i believe he is) .. Ummm.. Veerjee there's nothing wrong having non-sikh/money sikh friend.. I have more monaeey friends than proper singhs but that doesn't mean i have double identity or two face person..

Congrats Broo lots of my relatives and cuzin started keeping their hair.. While growing kesh.. some started keeping pony tail and when they get enuf hair to tie jurra, they started to wear the small parna (or dumala :nihungsmile: but a small version) cauz turban like this --> needs big jurra and stuff to make it balance and luk good.. sorry if i confused ya

I agree on arranged marriages but in some cases finding soul mate on ur own (aka not arranged marriages) is also fine.. Why? cauz sometime many parents are like stuck in those age old castes things..

When u enter darbar sahib.. u can see ppls name mentioned on the marbles.. Saying "this singh from this place donated this much etc.." What about them?? Regarding mah. ranjit singh .. i don't think he did anything wrong of giving gurdwara sahib a good decoration.. maybe the ppls after him gave him lil credit by mentioning his name and stuff.. but i think that's all fine cauz this king wasn't greedy at all like others hana.. and he deserved lil credit for whatever he did.. he gave sooooo many stuff to gurdwara (sadly most of em were destroyed by hindia during 84 ) Also.. there are old saying around that ranjit singh got cursed cauz he went against the saying of guru sahibs regarding decorating stuff and also the famous rumor of kohinoor diamond etc... All of these stuff are just plain old punjabi rumors..
