Sat Sri Akal, I was thinking for last week and realise that i love my parents most. It is wrong i should love Guru, but i just love them so much. I know it is wrong. I dont do anything against sikhi. It is just a general question The most cases are that boy never change his religion, so used the word Girl , sorry if i am dumb ;( No offence for any girl, Sikhi says, So Kyon Manda Aakhiye Jin Janme Rajan | So just want to know the opinion of sangat. For me it is not possible for a girl to follow her religion (fully as before) after inter religioun marriage. Regards

There is no excuse the religion exists, but whatever religion you follow you should follow it properly if you do recite name of god for 2.4 hours a day and live accordingly then it will be fine. Religious followings are all different, if you go dipper you will understand, it is not so that all religions are same even fundamentally all are different. So when you see evrything as Hukam, you have followed the religion.

hmm ya or u cud tak 40/4.5 = 40/(9/2) = 40*(2/9) = 40*(1/4.5) k u no (1/5) = 0.20 and (1/4) = 0.25 so (1/4.5) has to equal roughly 0.222 so its 40*(0.222).. so whts 22.2% of 40?? well first whts 1% of 40?.. its 0.40 (cause 1%=(1/100) so 40*(1/100) = 40/100 = .40) so now whts 0.2% of 40? = 0.08 (cause 0.2%=[(1/5)/100] so 40*(1/500) = 40/500 = 8/100(divided top an bottom by 5) = 0.08) k now 20% of 40 is 8 so 22.5% of 40 has to be (20%+1%+1%+0.2%) 8+0.40+0.40+0.08 = 8.88 :lol: lol... hope all tht made sence My method was not that bad I really use it in many cases. Hi, Rakhri has no place in sikhi, just Punjabis are influenced by Hindu society so they adopt some of there traditions. Rakhi was started for a promise of Hindu brothers to protect there sisters. As women were said to be weak and inferior to man. They were during afghan invaders time i guess. Sikhi considers Women equal to men, so there is no need of rakhii. I will accept other way if anyone gives me a line from SHree Guru Granth Sahib jee sayinf importence of rakhree. Keep your own ways (khalsa) dont run after others. Regards

Hi, My father once said that the National Anthem of India was written in Praise of British rulers. I was just thinking how can be any nation so pathetic that they accept the poem written in praise of foreign rulersa s National Anthem. I found below in net, and ask your parents or grandparents , they must know it is true . Indian National Anthem "Jana Gana Mana" is sung throughout the country. Did youknow the following about our national anthem? I didn't. I have always wondered who is the "adhinayak" and "bharat bhagyavidhata",whose praise we are singing. I thought it might be God! To begin with, India's national anthem, Jana Gana Mana adhinayaka, was written by Rabindranath Tagore in honor of King George V and the Queen of England when they visited India in 1919. To honor their visit Pundit Motilal Nehru had the five stanzas included,which are in praise of the King and Queen. (And most of us think it is in the praise of our great motherland!!!) In the original Bengali verses only those provinces that were under British rule, i.e. Punjab, Sindh,Gujarat,Maratha.. etc. were mentioned. None of the princely states were recognized which are integral parts of India now - Kashmir,Rajasthan,Andhra, Mysore or Kerala. Neither the Indian Ocean nor the Arabian Sea was included, since they were directly under Portuguese rule at that time. The Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka implies that King George V is the lord of the masses and Bharata Bhagya Vidhata is "the bestower of good fortune". Following is a translation of the five stanzas which glorify the King: 1st stanza - (Indian) People wake up remembering your good name and ask for your blessings and they sing your glories. 2nd stanza - around your throne people of all religions come and give their love and anxiously wait to hear your kind words. 3rd stanza - Praise to the King for being the charioteer, for leading the ancient travellers beyond misery. 4th stanza - Drowned in the deep ignorance and suffering, poverty stricken,unconscious country? Waiting for the wink of your eye and your mother's (the Queen's) true protection. 5th stanza - in your compassionate plans, the sleeping Bharat (India)will wake up. We bow down to your feet O' Queen, and glory to Rajeshwara (the King). This whole poem does not indicate any love for the Motherland but depicts a bleak picture. When you sing Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka, whom are you glorifying? Certainly not the Motherland. Is it God? The poem does not indicate that. It is time now to understand the original purpose and the implication of this, rather than blindly sing as has been done the past fifty years.

Sat Sri Akal, If you are capable of keeping inner Rehat, then it is best things, as you will not be bothered by outward word. That is you dont care about anything except Guru, nor your identity, your appearence , any other thing. If you are capable of keeping inner rehat you will surely become Amritdhari else it is too much difficult to keep inner Rehat without reciting bani. Even in other religions it must have required a lot of effort. You have to decide do you think you are keeping Inner Rehat as Guru Jee Said. It is much more difficult to keep inner rehat then outer one.

So you have no sense of right and wrong. As you consider our Guru Gobind singh having the Character as shown in Triya Chariter. Just tell me why do Guru Gobind Singh never used 'Nanak' at end of his writiings and why did Guru Gobind Singh never put his bani in Guru Granth sahib. Can you prove TriyaChariter in context of Guru Granth sahib. I pity on you.

What is use of such ban. There should be deadline by Akal takht that it will take so much time. What is point in not solving an important panthic issue. If you believe Hindu gods then you have to believe Vedas too and all there literature right. You cant pick and choose. Then i will say everything written in Hinduism does not match in sikh principles. Simple Psychology everyone wants to see Gurus as Magical and very difficult to see them as common people with no magical powers. See the context is when Guru Arjun Dev jee sit on Tatti tavi the people used to say that the tavi got cold. They are ignorent fools, More qurbani or wisdom is in sitting tatti tavi. Tavi never gets cold as we are ruining their shaheedi. Same way people say Guru nank dev jee closed there eyes and can cross any distance. What is point they have travelled all such distance on foot.
