  1. Er dude i think this Vi has already been integrated. I think you just need to apply the parameters to it i.e. the max and min points (a and b)
  2. I started off doing 5 A/S levels and then went into burn out. I dropped 2 subjects for my second year and finished with 3 A levels. It was amzing how much better i did at the remainign subjects. if you really can't cope you should drop 1, it is better to have 3 good A level grades, than to have 4 average grades! btw nearly all uni's expect just 3 A'levels, I got into bham uni with 3. I hope this helps wjkk wjkf
  3. has anybody been watching this? how embarrasing! cricinfo is telling me that pieterson, vaugahn and bell all only got 1 run each! 61 for 6
  4. wow i can't believe there is such good condition! amazing
  5. I totally agree with the above post. The only way to stop this is to educate the youth, i believe it is the job of the parents to do this. Parents need to give their the children the best possible start, my parents didn't really teach me about sikhi, my mum does paath everyday and we went to the gurdwara and that, but we never sat down and discussed sikhi or talked about it. sikh society at uni helped me so much spiritually, i didn't even believe in god when i started uni, and was in a bad bad state. It amazing how much good sangat, and a basic knowledge of sikhi can help improve you life, and the lives of those around you, by so much!
  6. it's things like this that scare me into being a better person....thank you!
  7. Ego has a strong grip on us all, only love of waheguru can help us overcome this. wjkk wjkf
  8. This sums me up! Im so sorry waheguru thank you for everything :WW:
  9. "Sikhs accepts that everything in the Universe happens according to the Will Waheguru. It is by the command of Waheguru that we are born and we die." I think that waheguru gives us choices, waheguru lays a path in front of us, and maya tempts us to stray off that path, but waheguru is always there to help us back onto it. When you do someting bad, you feel the shame deep down inside. Waheguru knows the choices we are about to make, it is his will that we make some bad choices so that we can learn from them, or because he knows that they will benefit us in the future even though it may not seem it at the time. Ulitmately waheguru decides how we live, and helps to guide us. Some choices are waheguru's alone, whereas other choices are there to test us. Life is one big test, only those that are worthy will merge with waheguru at the end of it, waheguru is our father there to guide us, but how can we ever be worthy of joining him if he completes all of our tasks for us; how can we be worthy if we have never proved our love for him. This is just my opinion on this. wjkk wjkf
  10. "When the mind that was in darkness becomes enlightened, it passes away and with its passing, the thing we call enlightenment passes to" Once sachkhand has been obtained, you have merged with waheguru and there is no greater enlightenment. Hence this is how you will stay for eternity; merged with the supreme being. I personally believe that the enlightenment never passes; it is a part of you always and you are a part of it.
  11. well my uncle spent 2 years trying to get a job in a sikh solicitors firm, and he writes his name as singh but they always asked him what his family name was, and when he told them they wouldn't give him the job becuase it's a lower caste name! and this was only about 5 years ago in England aswell! he works in a gora solicitors firm now.
  12. I keep singing kirtan when i make the roti, but if i make roti with a chooni on i tend to burn it...the chunni not the roti. I guess my brother's patke are the way forward! But seriously i'd like to know aswell....anyone?...
  13. This is disgusting! I didn't realise that such young children could be filled with so much arrogance! We need to break the barriers of hatred, we all need to learn to love our fellow men and woman, so that the children can follow suit! If parents raise their children to be predujiced, this will only continue as they get older and then will be passed on when they have children!
  14. simran is unbelievebly powerful! :WW: :WW:
  15. "He said he had resigned to have his "name cleared". " I think he resigned out of shame! Hopefully Mr Jasbir Singh will recieve justice! wjkk wjkf
  16. I saw this in the paper the other day aswell. Its absolutely disgusting! I have a 12 year old sister and it's totally sick to think someone of her age would be expected to bear children for 40 year old men! I'm glad something is beign done about this!
  17. i would love to donate my organs! They are of no use to me when i die, and if they will save someone else life then what a wonderful way of doing 1 last act of seva! :TH:
