  1. It was a nice read. I could've done without all the fecal and urine talk though. :s Can I ask you an honest question. I've read up on this and was wondering if you call into this category. Do you have OCD?

  3. I think a lot of people just have the mentality that a dastaar is just for guys. I used to have that mentality too, but I learned about it and now understand that a dastaar can be for both males and females, so hopefully you can keep on educating them until it clicks in their head.

Your argument has many faults because all you are saying is people get a tattoo to impress people, which clearly isn't the case with everyone. There are various reasons why someone could get a tattoo. I'm not saying their reasons are right or wrong, but I'm saying I have a problem when people make a blanket statement and put everyone into the same category. It's just not fair and you can keep shouting "MANMAT" all you want, but a loud voice isn't always a right voice.

If you think a pair of trainers costs so much, complain to the store who sells them or the designer who made them. Don't blame the common person for buy something they really want. The kind of mentality you're talking about where we should dress simple and live simple is admirable, but don't knock those who choose to stray from that. To dismiss buying anything expensive as "ego" is asinine.

Same could be said for buying clothes, cars, shoes, etc...
  8. Let them play want they want. You don't have to be rude about it.
  9. Everyone does. It keeps changing when you reach different levels of posts.
  10. You're like that other guy who used profanity and was banned for 15 days. Keep yourself in check!
  11. I wish bumping a few old posts, which are "inspirational", would be the solution to keeping the quality on this forum up, but it's going to take a lot more than that. This is just a drop of water in a raging sea.
  12. As you were told yesterday, that is really unnecessary! Grow up, please.
  13. OK, I'm clear about the hazooria, thanks, but I've seen people wipe their noses with it a few times. Would you say that is wrong and going too far?
  14. And what happens if you don't wear the hazooria?
  15. Don't treat it like an idol, but be respectful when holding it. Most people I know, just touch it to their head. Never seen anyone do a full on matha tek to it. Besides, it's better to excercise the most respect in Guru Sahib's darbar, than be very relaxed about it.
  16. I agree. It's not a laughing matter. That kind of mentality might drive newbies like me away.
  17. It's a good question!
  18. Thanks for being so polite. :s Anyways...
  19. To each their own. It looks like that beautiful girl, Aaliyah, is deceased anyway, given the years 1979-2001. A real shame. :s
  20. I don't think they should be kept gupt. I want to read about it.
