  2. Where these 'Sikh Rehat Police' trained by the Saudian Arabian Religious Police? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/1874471.stm My suggestion keep your 'bota shut' before you get innocent people killed.
  3. He was not a child molester as he was found not guilty in a court of law!!! Also for the Sikhs who argue what has this got to do with Sikhism - well lets ignore who is the President of America after all what has the most powerful man on earth got to do with Sikhism? We live in a world of 6 billion where 99.9% are not Sikhs and have nothing to do with Sikhi - what shall I do know pretend the rest of the world does not exist?
  4. A legend, RIP Michael Jackson, in the 80s you made song, dance, music videos events in my life and for millions of others. To those Sikhs who seem to know who is going to hell or heaven as a friend said to me once 'what will you do if you get to Sikh heaven and find Hindus there'? In heaven I think there will be more atheist than religious people!
  5. This is the 21st Century the battle against Islam is worldwide 'Samuel Huntingdon - Clash of Civilisations'. The 'new' war is being fought on an economic, social and military front. If you watch the media carefully countries like Norway have already stated as part of it's security obligation that no foreign oil is to be relied on by 2020. President Sarkozy has stated there is no place for the Burkha in France. In the US there are organisations against 'gas guzzler' SUVs as they state foreign oil consumption funds terrorism. European countries have objected to Turkey membership. The way to beat this menace is to boycott economically Moslems shops, businesses etc. etc. The situation will get worse year by year until the State machinery gets involved. Beating up a few Paks by young Sikhs is not the way forward, you need to engage the brain first which is a concept of Miri/Piri. In the times of Aurungzeb how many Sikhs were doing business with the Moslems? My message without going to jail, without, stressing yourself out, without stopping yourself being a good Sikh is to boycott Moslem goods and services where possible. It is also time for Sikhs to give up the demon drink and meat especially halal and take up exercise. Long Live the Khalsa. Long Live Christian Britain.
  6. It is a worrying trend but if you look at the flip side more right wing parties across Europe got a bigger share of the vote during the recent European Elections. Also those against further European integration and especially those against Turkey joining the EU needs to create the necessary momentum now. In essence the expansion of Islam is an issue but there are millions of peoples and interested parties in Europe already raising the alarm bells enough to stop a take over. In Africa did you know the biggest growing religion is now Christianity?
  7. Pass the details on to the BNP, the LibLabCon political parties are too afraid to take on Islamic Fundamentalism. Yes I am fully aware of the BNP hidden agenda but who else is going to sit up and listen?
  8. Bro/sis It is ironic that you comment on awareness of sikhi and then identify with caste. There is no such thing as jatt sikh or ravidassi sikh. Those who claim such title are, with respect, more appropriately and generally described as Hindoos. BuddaSingh please look at the web links below and then state again if there is no such thing as castesism in Sikhi:- http://www.4jat.com/print/print_media_detail.asp?id=5426 http://sikh.matrimonialsindia.com/jat-sikh...non-working.htm http://www.4jat.com/print/print_media_detail.asp?id=5426
  9. Sikhism unfortunately has allowed itself to be caste based this is not the fault of the Brahmins, GOI, or RSS but Sikhs themselves
  10. Jason 12 - Guru Gobind Singh is not the Guru of the Jats only - he can be any-ones Guru. I believe the spirit of our Gurus and other righteous humans live on in another dimension. When so called Sikhs die who are really just casteist Jats the 10th master will reject them! Guru Gobind Singh wanted the SGGS to be a Guru - a focal point of our lives but not our only source of wisdom. The beauty of Sikhism was that it asked humans to engage in the normal day to day activities of life but to apply wisdom. Take for instance what does the SGGS say about global warming - nothing I suspect but we each have responsibilities to fellow man and future generations for e.g. ensuring Punjab's water table is not exhausted to the point a drought occurs. The world is getting to grips with economic disaster, pandemics, terrorism, fascism, healthcare, pensions, a child's welfare and education, what do Khalistani worry about - a Sant allegedly involved in Beadbi? Guru Ravidass message is universal if Sikhism wants to constrain it then it will look 'outside the box', the loss will be to the casteist Jats. Religion should be evolving day to day - for e.g. the Roman Catholic Church at one time thought is was the 'devils work' to undertake post mortems - can you imagine anyone dying in the West now without a post mortem carried out?
  11. From The Times June 9, 2009 Nick Griffin hails BNP’s European wins as ‘first breach in the dam’ Russell Jenkins and Fiona Hamilton Nick Griffin, the leader of the BNP, was in a generous mood yesterday. He could afford to be. His election and that of his colleague, Andrew Brons, to the European Parliament opens up a huge war chest: they will each have a salary of €91,980 (£80,443) and access to staff budgets of €210,480 and office allowances of €50,424. Mr Griffin talked about opening a BNP office as his first step but added: “We promised we would give 10 per cent of our wages to local community groups and if we made anything in expenses we would pledge to do the same with that. We will not be putting any money into the BNP but to local community groups to help them celebrate St George’s Day or promote a Christian Christmas.” Mr Griffin, 50, had left his two pet rottweilers at home in Llanerfyl, near Welshpool, Powys, but he had brought his bodyguard with him to meet the media. “Bill”, his fists decorated with multiple rings, was never more than a few steps away from his master. Mr Griffin need not have worried. His presence elicited a stream of honked horns from passing lorry drivers. Related Links * BNP: Barnsley turns its back on Labour * Nick Griffin's racial hatred conviction He had snatched only two hours’ sleep and eaten a hasty meal of fish and chips since he and his wife, Jackie, limped home from his party’s celebrations in Manchester. He described his election victory in the North West of England region as a “moment that history will regard as being as important as the rise of the Labour Party as an electoral force”. The mainstream parties were quick to condemn the BNP’s success. David Cameron, the Conservative leader, described the party as “beyond the pale” and an “appalling bunch of people”. Mr Griffin’s involvement in far-right politics, including a conviction for inciting racial hatred in 1998, mirrors that of Mr Brons, who won his seat in Yorkshire and the Humber. Mr Brons, 61, a former chairman of the National Front and a retired politics lecturer at Harrogate College, was convicted in 1984 of behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace after he was arrested while selling National Front newspapers. As a teenager he joined the National Socialism Movement, which was founded in honour of Hitler and whose members were responsible for an arson campaign against Jewish property and synagogues in the Sixties. He told The Times yesterday that he regretted his membership, which he said should be put down to youthful indiscretion. Mr Griffin described the BNP’s wins, largely due to the collapse in the Labour vote, as “the first breach in the dam”. He said: “The concerns and the worries of the indigenous population have been held back by a dam of lies and deceit by the mainstream parties and the politically correct media.” The first issue had already landed in his in-tray, he said. He aimed to use his public profile to highlight the sexual grooming of white girls by what he calls groups of Asian paedophiles. Asked whether such tactics represent a return to the dark ages, he replied: “Not if you talk to the families of young girls who have been through this. A girl aged 12 years old is someone’s little girl and a year later she is just a crack <banned word filter activated>. That is the dark ages. It is absolutely brutal.” Mr Griffin rejected suggestions that the BNP’s success would lead to the “rivers of blood” envisaged by Enoch Powell. “The divisions are already there. They were created by that monstrous experiment: the multi-cultural destruction of old Britain. There is no clash between the indigenous population and, for instance, settled West Indians, Sikhs and Hindus. There is, however, an enormous correlation between high BNP votes and nearby Islamic populations. The reason for that is nothing to do with Islamophobia; it is issues such as the grooming of young English girls for sex by a criminal minority of the Muslim population. “I am now there to give political articulation to the concerns of the mainly indigenous population. The ethnic populations have always had Labour to speak up for them. Finally their neighbours have got someone who speaks up for them.” He plans to join Mr Brons in London today to set out their European agenda in more detail. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/poli...icle6459215.ece
  12. Fordcapri you have hit the nail on the head UKIP all the way!!! The USA always puts pressure on the EU to accept Turkey as a full member - I don't see the USA accepting Mexico as the 51st State!
  13. Isn't this Beadbi? watch from 3:35 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6WqE3G7OG0...feature=channel
  14. Singhrow - good stuff the - one of the reasons I love Sikhism is that meat is barred! Looking at the clips one realises why killing and eating animals is just plain wrong. If I was you I would form a partnership with PETA and see how you get on from there. I am sick to death of going to Sikh households who justify eating meat is condoned in Gurbani. Long live the Khalsa and the animals of the world!

  17. In India there are are 180 million Ravidassia, well done to the fundamentalist for closing the door to Sikhism for this community Sikhism will become a fundamentalist religion confined to Punjab with a Jat mentality. If you look at the Ravidassia history they are part of Sikhism from day one, Guru Nanak respected Guru Ravidass enough to have social interaction and learn from his teacings, Guru Arjan Dev incorporated Guru Ravidass Bani in the Adi Granth. Read up of the history of the Sikh Light Infantry, look at the rebellion of The Satnami Revolt Against Aurungzeb, see what Giani Ditt Singh did for Sikhism. Many parts of Punjab no longer have a Sikh majority - Sikhism has failed to reach out to the so called lower caste Sikhs, Biharis etc. Guru Nanak was born a into a Hindu family - who were the original converts to Sikhism yes Hindus? If Sikhisms does not reach out to other sections of the Indian community it will be left as a dying religion in terms of numbers and in years to come known as an in-bred religion (the gene pool has to expand - simple laws of science). It would have been easier to convert a Ravidassia to the orthodoxy of Sikhism than a Hindu to convert to Sikhism!
  18. Where's the beadbi here, no SGGS is being disrespected, only men, women, children and property are hurt in this process! I suggest we declare all out war on the Deras and it might send a message to the Moslem to leave us Sikhs alone! No wait this is an GOI plot to drive a wedge between Sikhs and Muslims! Where's the so called Sikh brave hearts to protect and serve the vulnerable or are they too busy making plans to assassinate the old, unharmed, Sants who did nothing but preach love and peace?
  19. Dear Random Sikh, The term Guru is not exclusive to Sikhism, Guru simply means teacher. At no point did Sant Rama Nand Dass proclaim himself as the 12th Guru of Sikhism, he preached what he felt was right - the Dera has opened a charitable hospital, eye hospital and school - can I ask you Random Sikh what Sewa have you done recently to help the less fortunate? Where are the SPGC and Akali Dal in their manifesto in bringing ALL inhabitants of Punjab into Sikhism - and then propagate the true message of Sikhism i.e a casteless society. What the assassination has achieved is that it has shown to the so called lower caste Sikhs that there is no place for them in the mainstream so they will etch a separate path for themselves. The problem with Sikhism is that it did not reach out enough outside Punjab. Sadly after the demise of the 10th master it maintained a Punjabi mentality and was later spoilt by Jattism. Christianity has many strands i.e. Methodist, Baptists, Salvation Army, Pentecostal - who is to say what is right or wrong. The murder is a black day for Sikhism - it will turn many people off the religion and undo some of the great work laid down by the Gurus.
  20. Here some well researched information why Deras prosper:- Social neglect leading to growing influence of sects: Experts By Alkesh Sharma Chandigarh, May 29 (IANS) Punjab came to a grinding halt for nearly two days after followers of Dera Sachh Khand protested violently against the attack on their leaders in Vienna. Experts feel that the growing influence of such sects is owing to the social neglect of people from lower castes. Some of the sects like Dera Sachh Khand, Dera Sacha Sauda, Divya Jyoti Jagran Sansthan and the Bhaniarewala sect claim to have millions of followers and have been involved in one controversy or the other in the recent past. The biggest of the sects - and the only one not to court any controversy till now - the Radha Soami sect of Beas near Amritsar, claims to have more than 100 million followers. Experts and social researchers say that the spontaneous outbreak of violence after the attack on Dera Sachh Khand leaders in a gurdwara in Austrian capital Vienna could be linked to pent up feelings among the sect followers, much of it owing to subjugation of people from lower strata by the dominant Jat Sikh community in Punjab. “Followers of Dera Sachh Khand had perceived the attack on their sect leaders as an attack on their principles and identity that they have constituted after years of struggle,” said Ronki Ram, a Panjab University faculty member, who has done extensive research on Guru Ravidass Deras in Punjab and stayed in one of them to gain first-hand experience of their life. Dera Sachh Khand is called a Ravidassiya sect because it follows tenets laid down by 14th century social reformer and spiritual reformer Guru Ravi Dass. Many of his teachings were included in the Sikh holy book Guru Granth Sahib. “It was the anguish and resentment of the followers that came out in the form of extensive violence in Punjab. They wondered why anybody was harming their leaders or trying to intrude into their territory,” Ram told IANS. Three people were killed and dozens injured as the state witnessed widespread violence Sunday and Monday with followers of the Dera Sachh Khand sect damaging public and private property to protest the attack on their leaders in Vienna. While sect head Niranjan Dass is recovering from the attack, his second-in-command, Sant Rama Nand Dass, died of gunshot wounds. Ram, who is the head of political science department in the varsity, has also presented research papers on Ravidassiya Deras and social protests. “The number of deras in Punjab and other parts of the country is increasing. They are the group of those deprived people who had faced societal wrath at some time. Lack of freedom and opportunities largely led people to join these deras,” Ram said. S.R. Heer, general secretary of Dera Sachh Khand, told IANS: “It was natural and the unrest was an outburst of expression of our followers. But we ourselves went to the affected areas and appealed to them not to adopt any violent means of protest. The protests became subdued after Monday. “Now the situation has become normal. We have crores (tens of millions) of followers spread all across the world and certainly our whole community was hurt by the Vienna incident but still we condemned the use of any kind of violent means for protest.” The sect is headquartered at Ballan village near Jalandhar, 150 km from here. It is in the Doaba belt (the area between rivers Sutlej and Beas) where the sect has the maximum number of followers comprising Dalit Sikhs and people from other communities. “The recent mayhem in Punjab is testimony to the fact that the increasing number of deras in Punjab have overshadowed the mainstream society,” said Satnam Singh Dhillon, a historian and a research scholar at Punjabi University, Patiala, around 60 km from here. “In Punjab, 40 percent of the population belong to the Dalit community or downtrodden sections and that is maximum in any state of the country. We are sitting on fire and a little provocation is enough to bring unrest in the whole state and these deras can easily hold the whole state on ransom anytime,” he said. Harmanjit Singh Deol, a student of Punjabi literature here, said: “Punjab is always divided between the dominant Jat Sikh community and other Dalit Sikhs, who are the followers of one sect or the other. Due to this disorder some self-styled godmen and spiritual leaders have taken undue advantage of the circumstances.” (Alkesh Sharma can be contacted at alkesh.s@ians.in) http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal/health..._100198227.html

  22. Stop blaming the Brahmins and as for the the Jats they need to accept fully accept they have brought Sikhism in to disrepute in direct contradiction of the message of the Sikh Gurus!!!
  23. If Jattism keeps polluting Sikhism, Bhangra, Gurdwaras then why blame the Ravidassia for striking out on their own. Please remember the Ravidassia make up one of the largest caste in India and is not solely concentrated in Punjab.
  24. You will find the the Dera supporters aim to is burn the flags of 'Jattism' not the Sikh Flag!!!
  25. Mista Singh please look up the history of the Sikh Light Infantry and then tell me if the Ravidassia Sikhs were not part of the Khalsa?
