1. please do  interesting topic and posts. i thought we we were all meant to try and become Sant-Sipahis? otherwise we would just be Sipahis right? maybe not even that as that still requires a military discipline, rehit, unity and a core set of beliefs. without dharam - everyone would just end up arguing and killing each other.. so i guess the problem is we're too far from dharam and feeling a little insecure so let's attack those who have had any jeevan. call them sant or call them bhai - make's no difference to their jeevan or the infinite amount of love both God and Guru have for them. peace
 2. amazing - all His kirpaa. congratulations to the Singhs & Singhnia who took amrit.

 7. dudes guess who just made some alsee peeniyaa with his Nana ji here's the basic recipe altho we made like 100 so you may have to scale it down lol ingredients: 3 Kilos Alsee (Linseed) 2 Kilos Butter 2 Kilos Sugar 1.5 Kilos Sultanas 1 Kilo Almonds 1 Kilo Tilli (Sesame seeds) 300grams Coconut powder 200 grams Saund (Ginger powder) directions: 1) Taking 2 cups of Alsee at a time put in a saucepan & toast them until they start popping or go brown. Then put them in a blender grind into a powder. Repeat for all the Alsee. 2) Follow the same procedure with the Tilli to get a powder. 3) Put the Almonds in a blender & grind into a powder. Mix all the above powders together in a large saucepan. 4) Melt all butter on medium heat for 15 minuites then add it to the Saucepan with the powder in it and mix it all up. 5) Wash Sultanas in warm water & mix it in the powder mixture. 6) In the pot you melted the butter add 2 pints of milk, 2 Kilos of Sugar & let it simmer until it turns into Syrup. Then add this syrup to the powder mixture & stir well. 7) Lit it sit for 10 minuites. 8) Take a handful of the mixture, press it into a ball & put it on greaseproof paper. Repeat this with the remaining mixture & let the pineeyaan sit for a few hours or put them in a fridge. 9) EAT

Dhan Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh who without hatred on this day selflessly gave his all for the Panth. we've nothing but betrayed this gursikh in the years since so the least we can do is remember him and pray to Akaal Purakh to bless us with an ounce of the love and compassion he had for his fellow brothers and sisters.

 13. We have lost sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, we have seen them burned alive in front of our eyes. Do we not have the right to mourn? Do we not have the right to want justice? Candle Light Remembrance Vigil 4pm to 7 pm Wed 7 November 2007 Chamberlain Square, Birmingham The Sikh community is commemorating the sacrifices of Sikh soldiers who fell in the first and second World Wars and the twenty third anniversary of the holocaust that was unleashed upon the Sikhs of Northern India during November 1984. The sacrifice of thousands of Sikh libertarians goes unmentioned year on year. This year the Sikh community is remembering the courage of Sikh soldiers from the fields of Punjab, the jungles of Burma , the plains of Africa to the poppy fields of Europe . Wherever they served humanity, they fought tyranny, oppression and injustice. The commemoration this year is marking twenty three years of impunity since Operation Bluestar and pogroms of Sikhs in India during November 1984. In disgust that their counterparts in Northern India had overseen the genocide of Sikhs, Sikh soldiers deserted barracks across India . Thousands of these Sikh soldiers were killed, hundreds have languished in prisons since. The vigil is a remembrance for the thousands of Sikhs killed across India in 1984 following the assassination of Indira Gandhi, the Indian Prime Minister. Whilst this was a tragedy, what followed were days of barbaric murder, rape and looting across India which left thousands dead and over 50,000 homeless. The victims of these anti-Sikh pogroms still await justice. We hope you will join us to remember the thousands of innocent victims of the ant-Sikh riots of November 1984. Last year hundreds of people including local MP's and Councillors joined us in this remembrance. Prayers will be said 6.30 – 7 pm. The vigil will officially launch a campaign to raise funds for the prosecution case that is being prepared by victims of the 1984 genocide against re-elected Indian MPs and Congress (I) party officials serving on the current Indian administration. Come and give your support for the campaign for justice in India and commemorate the sacrifice of Sikh soldiers. 20. http://www.sikhsangat.org/news/publish/asi...Bir_sikhs.shtml these ppl got away with this beadbi for too long. the saddest thing is after all these years the only reason they're now being dealt with is due to Satkaar committee and political & financial motivation of SGPC/SAD-Badal/Vedanti. http://www.sikhsangat.org/ssn/publish/Sang...ident_961.shtml Vedanti & Makkar were asked repeatedly on their previous "tours" outside india why nothing was being done about this and pressure has been on them for years about this. yet they kept saying "we're doing all we can" if they can't even ensure there is satkaar for Guru Maharaj within metres of Sri Darbar Sahib then where can we expect it?
