beating people up is too easy and usually the wrong thing to do. TRUST ME i've sadly got tonnes of experience to lay witness upon. Despite always being a straight A student (thanks to Waheguru) i always had problems like these up to 13/14 got bullying galore as i was one of handful of sikhs in an all-white grammar school. then at college it was the usual anti-sikh pakistani/bangladeshi community starting race-wars on the handful of singhs there point is you learn how to deal with these jokers- it aint by continually getting into fights over this and that. try once or twice to see if teachers will help but if not, don't rely on teachers to solve your problem because chances are they're too busy or sh!tscared to help. best way is to outsmart the people you got problems with and then get them sorted out by the police. Just video or audio record them doing some naughty stuff such as an argument with you or shouting racist abuse, fighting, etc. and then thats it- restraining order- (this wont work but is first step for those idiots on the slippery slope to jail) meanwhile no matter what you focus on your education and then in a few years time you'll end up with an ace degree and doing msc like me (apologies ahunkaari-paapi is my middle name) meanwhile those jokers will be flipping burgers

one word- UNITY am i the only person that gets on with everyone? it is ridiculous that caste is even still an issue confronting the panth Some members of the cobbler caste choose to set up gudwaras named guru ravidas gurdwara and have different nishaan flags to the traditional khanda nishaan sahib ji. On this point i hope from my heart they would meet halfway on this issue and my personal opinion is try Guru Ramdas ji Gurdwara which would please all concerned. Considering any 1 bhagat alone as Guru would cause emphasis on certain areas of Gurbani over others thus why guru dhanna gurdwaras dont pop up. Only in entirity can SGGS be proclaimed Guru Sahib ji. However on the whole to their credit Thurkhan and Cobbler, etc. Gurdwaras are still run to good standards but little niggling problems with committees discriminating against other castes often occur Not just caste, even in the panth there is segregation based on sects like jathae or cults like Radhaswamis. When it came to caste and culture people were asked which pend they were born in. With sects; people are asked which Gurdwara they took amrit. there have been members of ALL sects, castes, creeds, denominations, groups, etc. that have given shaheedi in our religion or contributed to Guru Sahib or the functioning of the Panth instead of this segregation let's just stand as 1 panth peace

Unlike founders of other religions Guruji (considering them as 1 entity) didn't want to rid the world of other religions; he wanted everyone to follow their own religion truthfully. That DOES NOT in any way appease the 1984 or other attacks... but an eye for an eye leaves everybody blind Maharaja Ranjit Singh actively helped to restore places of worship for other faiths like Mosques and temples, etc. This was right stance. To socially appease the 1984 and other attacks; the Indian Gov. had to spread propoganda to whip up a culture of anti-sikh sentiment. Showing we are a loving and peaceful people is the way to address this I agree we should make sure this never happens again but let's not confuse religion with government or society peace
