upload2.mp3 Here is a sample of the kirtan. I have watered down the vocals to have him record a new vocal track over this layout. I am also going to record raw "live" audio normally but I wanted to do an edit version first to compare with to new people wanting to record either live or layered.

I am editing the kirtan right now to be a sample of these youths from Bradshaw Gurdwara. Im recording youths on a donation basis so they can have their own Shabad Kirtan cd's of themselves to share with family and friends. I know for a fact this will get youths to more orient themselves with Sikhi and Sikh music. Ive already had been told of apprieciation for doing this, and it keeps giving me a better vibe of the direction I want to go with KEERPASOUND. Anyone that is in the Northern California area just PM me to make an appointment with me to round up equitment and record your Kirtan at home or at my studio. is that why some vowels are before or after certain letters even in Gurmukhi. werds can only do so much once we try to spell, then it goes to origins. as I learn punjabi there are many of the same stumping questions you are saying aboot english. My honest opinion is the english language was invented to make others appear underseducated only to the point of adding werds that mean other werds or werds that mean the same thing. The descriptions in the meaning of the werds just points towards going to an english uni or school in order to know what and how to "supposedly speak proper english". So it makes people look towards getting taught by the british. sounds like yer scared to be a Sikh sportsman that is seen wearing a head covering, why arent you at the Gurdwara instead of playing golf on sunday. At least go to the Gurdwara on sundays when most of the Sangat is present. Golfers golf on sunday like it is an auspiscious religious duty or sum thing. english translations arent Guru Birs. They are like pothis or references, a Granth is compiled together while translations are in volumes. Im not saying disrespect or nothing but selling a translation is the same as posting tuks on the internet, and having someones pc hard disk full of junk and downloading Gurbani to a junk filled computer. Some say no Gurbani should be for sale. Only sale to pay for cost of making or then how can anyone afford to make millions of gutkas etc. not as making a million dollars like its a business for gaining capital. like the number one selling book in the world. The quran used to be treated with the same respect as Guru Granth Sahib Ji way back in the day. A Sikh was reading Gurbani and heard GuruSahib was coming and they put their gutka down in a special place for it. Guru Sahib sobbed with tears down his face from his eyes. The Sikh being very alarmed begged GuruJi "What happened?, how can I help?" GurSahib said "You let dust get on my Bani and that dust is the same in my eyes, you should cover with respect to keep clean pysically and spiritually." (From what I remember) Thats why we cover with rumalla etc and why we wash our hands before touching and studying(paat). We are not supposed to dance to find God, as sufi and turkish people spin in circles as a dance to become one with God. Guru teaches us how to be one with God. As a Sikh should stay on a marg finer than a hair and sharper than a sword I find it hard to find energy and time to dance. (Im not even close to that level so.....) If you are very educated then instead of idle time and dancing they should go and ignite other Sikhs spiritual candles. Im not saying if you dance you are retarded or anything because when I play my music I find myself moving to the riddems also a dance is the body submitting to the sound waves and the music takes the bodies emotions and blends them with the dance, but you cant find God merely from dancing, you can through music though, from what GuruJi teaches constantly. This is why we should listen to positive music and lyrics. When people come on a forum to contaminate Sikhs gyan then it is a problem of any religion when they should go make a forum that fits their agendas. If a christian came to your house just to yell nonsense through your window, are you going to say something? When Chunch gyani's come on the forum of any religion they must be recognised as having their background so we can understand what misconceptions they were mislead by of Sikh knowledge, if its caste belief or any bias nonsense it shows etc.....
