  1. True say Singh, I apologise for replying in anger, but I have seen and I am sure many will agree with me, that anyone that does Nindiya of a Mahapurkh will get what's coming to them and that is something we cant control no matter how it makes us look..
  2. Hopefully this is enough evidence for our unfaithful Singh's to realise that we are being made fools of!
  3. Singh that is what they call washing your dirty laundry in public! As much as I am furious at what he has said and the way he acts, and personally just wanna punch him coz he is a rubbish presenter and can't talk properly, that dont meant that we should start questioning him in public about his views AGAINST Sikhi. This is our biggest flaw because we always openly show our disadvantages and let the world know how weak we are and how we have no unity. What needs to be done is for Upinder to be taken off Sangat TV and then only for the community, like maybe at a local Gurdwara, he should present himself where Sangat can then question him on his views and he should answer for it there! This is how things should be done, that way Sangat gets the answers they deserve and also we dont wash out dirty laundry in public and give the world more of a reason to point and laugh at Sikhs. P.S. once they have him somewhere they should give him a few slaps, but thats just a personal opinion, like I said anyone that talks disrespectfully about Sant Jarnail Singh should feel the force of the Singhs, especially when it is thanks to the leadership and Mahaan Shakti of Sant Jarnal Singh that so many Gursikhs are on the true path of Sikhi and following Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj and their teachings for a better life!
  4. Respect to your comment that they did make an effort to try and keep things cool after what happened, but at what price? On one hand we got Sangat TV in the world wide media being praised for what they have done and on the other hand we got this presenter who seems to have views of a Bahman! (anyone that disrespects Sant Jarnail Singh Ji is a Bahman!) Why are we giving up and selling out our principles just so 3we can say we are working together for Peace and Unity. This whole "unity" thing is gonna stab us so hard in the back at the ends that were jus gonna be left staring at each others faces thinking where did we go wrong...again! We have seen not only all over this forum but all over the net about this so called "unity" that is happening between the Sikhs and Muslims. Sangat TV pull your heads out of the Muslim's backside and start looking out for your people again! This is why employers do background checks on people they employ, maybe our TV channels need to do this before the let anyone on the TV presenting shows about our Sikh Faith when it is so evident that they have no true intentions about Sikhi. He is entitled to his view and opinion (even if it is a stupid one) but he needs to keep it to himself as in the media world he needs to be un-biased and not take sides because in this case he is taking the side of the corrupt indian government and turning his back on people that have done more for the Panth than this guy will ever do, people that he has referred to in his post as "pricks". If we can get a screenshot of his FB comment can we get it posted so if anyone from the Sangat see's him they can question him...and take action as that is the only way these fools understand!
  5. Fateh, Just received a text from local singhs saying there is a message going around that apparently they are going to "hit up" the streets of southall, mainly targetting jeweller shops around 6pm in the evening. Please be aware and keep an eye out. If you have or know anyone that has a shop on broadway then tell them to be on alert, if not please get to Gurdwara in those areas, especially Ramgharia and Miri Piri which are located directly on the broadway. Also nearby is Park Avenue and around that time there is alot of local Sangat so there should be Singha Da Pehra to protect the Sangat if need be. If anyone can provide any more information would be good... On a quick side note just want to say take a step back and just look at what is happening... all across UK everyone has lost their values, principles and honour yet still Guru Ki Laadli Fauj continues to protect Maharaaj and the Honour of the name of Sikhi, heard loads of stories about last night and how Singhs protected Guru Ghar all over UK, just makes me feel proud that Maharaj has blessed me to be on this Path and kept me from being involved in this mindless violence. Another thing that we need to look at is how Maharaj has told us that all this was gonna happen in Dasam Bani and Sau Sakhi. It is this time where we need to have Faith in our Guru and follow that Path as that is the only thing that can protect us. Singhs need to be armed not only physically but mentally aswell to be ready for what is going to come in the coming stages...
  6. The reason why I was comparing this "wedding" with the Singhs in the World War was because these Singhs didn't just carry Maharaj Saroop where they went as a convenience but rather every day they would do Maharaj Parkash so to get Maharaj's blessings when they would go out into battle. They did this out of love and faith in their Guru. The purpose of this wedding was to show the world and other people that we are so "religious" "peaceful" and "loving" people. Yes I agree that from the picture it looks like there is bliss and Sehaj, purely because Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj is present, if Maharaj is anywhere it will be a blissful and amazing place. But that does not mean that we can do as we please when it comes to Satkaar of Maharaj. One Singh mentioned what if the sand had blown or water had splashed on Maharajs Angs? Imagine if sand blew into the eyes of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj because you wanted to have a nice "wedding" do you think it is a justified reason to hurt your Guru? As a Panth we will stand against any Beadbi of Sri Guru Granth Sahib regardless of who it is and in what situation.
  7. I read someones post about Singhs taking Maharaj Saroop to war and stuff and I just wanted to let you know how the Singhs treated Maharaj Saroop when they were in Jang. During the time of the war obviously all religions that were present requested some kind of religious immunity and demanded some form of religious rights one of the things that was requested by all the religions was a seperate area to practice their religion, only they would be allowed in that area and it would be kept how they want it. Due to limited funds not every religion or culture was allowed to be given their own specific area and so the Generals said to the leaders of the different religionss come forward and present your religion to us and we will see who deserves it. All other faiths came in with their holy scriptures tucked under one arm and came into the room and sat down, whereas Guru Ki Laadli Fauj came in Tyar Bar Tyar with Panjh Singh and full Stakaar of Maharaj Saroop on their head, setup a Manji Sahib and then laid Maharaj on their throne and done Parkash of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj. It was no doubt that the Sikhs were given full Agaya to have their own area where they could keep Maharaj Saroop and do Parkash and do Seva oif Maharaj with full Rehat. It was this Anakh that showed the world the love Sikhs have for their Guru but also why and how the Sikhs were such powerful and great warriors! Also im sure everyone here has seen the picture of the Singhs walking with Maharaj Saroop in the dessert with full Satkaar for Maharaj. What happened at this wedding was 100% WRONG! These Singhs took Maharaj Saroop everywhere they went because of their love for their Guru and the Faith they had in Maharaj. These people brought Maharaj Saroop to a intoxicated, kaljug infested beach to show off their "Sikhi" at their wedding. If you want to go to the beach after and do kirtan in happiness there is nothing wrong with that, but on that throne sits Dhan Dhan Dasam Patshah Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj and we have to think would Guru Gobind Singh Ji go to a beach with naked men and women running around to bless an Anand Karaj. There are bigger issues in the Panth, but nothing is bigger than the Satkaar of your Guru who has given you everything..
  8. Akaaal! Nuff respect to Singhs out there who still make time to do Parchaar! keep it up!

  11. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Guru Nanak Sikh School is again this year doing an akhand paath and mahaan keertan smagam over 3 days next weekend from 17th - 19th July. Aswell as being blessed with the opportunity to listen to Maharaj's bani over the three days there is also an amazing line up of kirtanis and katha vachaks. Aswell as this there will be a few events that we would like the Sangat to participate in. Firstly there will be displays of Gatka, Kung Fu, Muay Thai and Shin Kin displays, we hope everyone can come and see how much effort these groups have put into not only teaching these amazing arts but also how they have used this to do more Sikhi Parchar. Visit www.parkash.org for more info. A major highlight event is a Dastaar Competition that will take place on Sunday the 19th of July. The competition is being held in the memory of Bhai Amrik Singh and in the memory of all those that have sacrificed their lives from Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji to the Gursikhs of today so that we can produly live our lives as Gursikhs. We hope you can not only come and show your support but also take part. More details of the competition will be given out on the Friday and Saturday so please make every effort to come. If that wasn't enough trophies will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and certificates for all those that participate and there is also a special prize up for grabs so make sure you take part to have a chance to win! Also first release of the new Immortal Productions CD in London will be available at the programme from the BOSS stall aswell as all other BOSS goodies. visit www.boss-stall.com for more info. Please come and show your support to the programme as none of this would be possible without the Sangat. hope to see you there! Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
  12. AKAAAAAALL!! For all those that said it couldn't be done, and all those that said what would come of it.. ....in your face! Maharaj has done amazing kirpa by giving sangat the opportunity to read more Bani and most importatntly learn to understand it. However much or little you contributed towards this Maharaj will be thankful, and for all those that chose to ridicule rather than contribute, dont you feel silly now! Not a personal attack on anyone, just think this should show everyone the importance of unity! Let us all unite as one Khalsa Panth under the Kesri Nishaan Sahib!
  13. Well as much as we would like to think that people would give anything to help their Guru in any situation, the truth is no one was ready to help. It was a sad sight first to see Maharaj Saroop's in that state, but what was worse was to see very little Sangat coming forward to help. Unfortunatley because of this, the few people that did help had very limited resources, ie. money, and so things took longer than expected. Also the reponsibilites of planning and organising these programmes fell on those few individuals also, and so once again the process was prolonged. But i hope that we can all make the effort to come this Sunday to Park Avenue and pay our respects.
  14. "O Lord, protect me with Your Hand" - Chaupai Sahib. Every day we ask Maharaj 4 protection, bt wen sum1 attacked our Guru were we der 2 protect our Guru? If anything we shud cme 2 Park Avenue Gurdwara @ 12 pm dis Sunday 24th May not only 2 pay our respects but 2 ask 4 forgiveness, n ask Maharaj to give us the strength to fight the tyrants and unite as a Panth under one Nishaan Sahib.
  15. You're walking down the street, you are approached by someone, they ask if you have a minute or two to spare for a quick survey, you say you're in a hurry to get somewhere and rush off. Further down you are stopped again, this time someone offers you something in return for a minute of your time, pleased at the fact you will get something in return you stop and give up some of your time. These people attract us by giving us things that please our mind, that satisfy our needs, maybe they come dressed in certain clothes, or they speak in a certain way to get your attention. If you ask a friend for help again and again you can bet that eventually that friend will get annoyed and stop talking to you, turn their back on you. Maharaj has given us everything, yet we still hesitate to find the time for our Guru. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj has given Sacrifice 11 times to get our attention, are we still so inconsiderate that we will not give up one day to pay our respects to our Guru who gives us everything? Whenever we have a problem in our lives we can always count on Maharaj to be there for us, never stopped talking to us, never turned His back on us, can we say that we can do the same for our Guru? Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji gave his life and Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji called upon the Sikh nation to awake, creating armies he fought against the tyrants! Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Sacrificed his life so that a religion which he had not belief in could continue to lve their lives without oppression! Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji again woke the Panth and created aneed for unity and after the sacrifice of His family turned to his enemy and said, so what if you have killed four of my Son's, when thousands will rise in their place! Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale woke the Sikh's of the 20th Century, making them aware of the oppression and struggles Sikh's were facing in this day and age. Teaching us that if we are ever to break these shackles of slavery we must Unite! Read Bani, Take Amrit and become the Son's and Daughter's of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji so that one day we may be blessed to have his Darshan. On 16th March 2009, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Sacrificed 11 Saroops to teach us a lesson! We must unite to pay our respects to our Guru, but also to unite as the Khalsa Fauj that was once created to destroy the tyrants. If we do not accept our responsibilities, how can we ever show our face to our Father, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. With the amazing Kirpa of Maharaj there is a Sehaj Paath Bhog this Sunday, 24th May 2009, Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, Park Avenue, Southall. After the Bhog the Pavitar Ashes of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj will be taken to the Thames for the final ceremony. “God has blessed us with beautiful bodies, he gives us good food and the greatest of all he has blessed us with birth into a Sikh household, then if we get tired or lazy we do not have the right to live – as we should be dedicating each breath to Sikhi Parchar.” - Sant Kartar Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale. The question to ask yourself is do we deserve the right to live if we cannot find time for our Guru.....
  16. I would just like to say well done to everyone who makes the effort to organise something, and take a positive step to making a difference. There are so many people in the panth who are lazy, and will not do anything. So it is good to see youngsters wanting to do something. Unfortunatley i must agree with Akal_Sehna in the fact that when there is already a well established organisation doing seva we do not need to keep making more organisations. It is important that we all unite under the One Nishaan Sahib and follow the same path and views. This is the only way we can have unity. But i would also make a benti that we should all use this website less, and make more of an effort to take productive steps of parchaar. find out where and what you can do, then get out there and do it. It is your Panth, are you ready to sacrifice your time for it? we have not even been asked to give our heads, only our time, and we can not give that up for our Guru, will we ever be ready to give our heads......
  17. I know you think dat u r refering to Jah but thinkin of God, but when Maharaj has given us the word Waheguru to repeat and think of God, why do we need to find another word? It's like were trying to say, yeah God that word you said was good and everything, but these guys have got a shorter one and ima just say that instead.
  18. Jah - "Jah is the word for God in the Rastafarian culture. It is derived from the Hebrew word "Yah," but it is also believed to be a shortened version of the Biblical name "Jehovah." The word "Jah" appears approximately 50 times in both the Hebrew and emphasized Christian Bibles. Jah can also be found within the term "Hallelujah" which translates to "Praise God" in Judaism and Christianity." Clearly stated above Jah is a reference to God, in judaism and christianity. It has no link with Sikhi. It is a shame to see our youngsters influenced by this, and to promote other things before talking about Sikhi. Would it not have been more beneficial to write Waheguru that many times in your signature instead of Jah? Or maybe reciting the Lord's name you are reminded of Him and then it is harder to do the bad deeds. We choose to forget Maharaj when we want to commit sins, but soon as we have a problem, we love to go running back to Him! May Waheguru bless us all with the knowledge to take positive steps on the Path of Sikhi. laagoo hoeae dhusamanaa saak bh bhaj khalae | when your friends turn into enemies, and even your relatives have deserted you, sabho bhajai aasaraa chukai sabh asaraao | and when all support has given way, and all hope has been lost chith aavai ous paarabreham lagai n thathee vaao |1| -if you then come to remember the Supreme Lord God, even the hot wind shall not touch you. ||1|| You talk like your friends have desterted you, and become your enemy, but brother you haven't done what Maharaj tells you and remembered him, you have turned to this ideology of rastafari and spoken of something that has no relevance to you. dhaehu sajan aaseesarreeaa jio hovai saahib sio mael |3| My friends, give me your blessings, that I may merge with my Lord and Master. ||3|| We do not understand the blessings of Maharaj, whether it be in any shape or form, we have to learn to accept his will, for everything He does, He does for a reason!
  19. i just want to add my two cents, but going back to before when we talk about saying something without having the knowledge of it. Im sure there are more educated people than me here on SikhSangat so please correct me where i go wrong in telling this sakhi. There was a women who was a prostitute, one day outside her house there was a holy man, standing in the rain. She offered him to come inside, he came in and spoke to the woman. She told about how her life was messed up and why she had to become a prostitute. the man told her to get a parrot and teach it a word. The woman bought a parrot and taught it to say "Ram". Continuously the woman would repeat "Ram" in order to teach the parrot. She did not understand the concept behind the word, and that it meant God, but by continuously repeating the name of God, she was liberated. This Sakhi is in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj. I may have got some points wrong in the story, but as educated as you all are, you can undestand the concept of the story. By repeating God's name constantly, even if you have no understanding of it, Maharaj listens. And random point i would like to add, i think ur Gurdwara has been taken over by AKJ's not Taksalis. But I could be wrong!
  20. This is the reason why the Panth is suffering! Because we are tryng to teach everyone the universal message of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj (The True and ONLY Living Guru Of the Sikhs Now)! But idiots like yourself, and this Dassi guy come along and try and put Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj underneath you! People who are black and white, as you put it, follow him because they do not have the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj to guide them. If dassi was to show them the path of our Guru's then they would leave him in an instant and fall at the feet of the true Guru! And because he knows this will happen he does preach the true message of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj! Don't you worry sunshine the time will come, and people all over the world will remember this thing, that anyone who stands up againts Sri Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj and his Khalsa Fauj, will go down! No paapi has ever stood against Akaal Purakh Ki Fauj and won! Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj's hand is always blessing those Gursikhs that forever remember him, and if he can protect them from blazing fires, he will protect them from anything! Your posting, and your dassi does not affect the Laadlian Fauja because their strength comes from something that is beyond your understanding!
  21. If you dont like it, and you dont respect it and you dont understand it, LEAVE IT ALONE! what dey are doin does not affect ur lifes, or your jeevans! If you feel so bad about the goat getting killed do an extra Chaupai Sahib every morning! There have been people of higher jeevans that have gone to Hazoor Sahib and they have not stopped Chatka from happening. They understand that there is a Maryada, and yes some people follow it and some dont, but that is up to them. Again, it does not affect your life! Do your bhagti, reace a higher level in your jeevan, and do your darshan of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj and ask him yourself. On sikhsangat you are going to get the views and opinions of narrow minded, ego driven, loud mouth people, that only want to create a stir. Live your own life, and let people do what they want. When someone attacks your Guru, then stand up and fight!
  22. Fateh, Singh i have always been brought up to believe that when there are 5 amritdhari Gursikhs presents, that is Guru Roop. we should do seva of those Singh's as to do seva for your Guru (not like matha tekh to them, but show them the respect). Also any hukam given by this panj is that hukam from Guru himself. Problem is we have forgotten respect for tradition. If a Sant was to give a bachan we dont look at their Jeevan, we look to see how they are on a personal level, do i like them? How do they treat me? It is the same with Panj Singh, they are seen as Guru Roop and their hukam is final, if we go against them then we should accept the fact that we are in affect disrespecting the hukam of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and we all know if we go against what our Guru tells us, there is nothing worse then your Guru turning his back on you. But singh if you are having langar, please invite daas aswell, dont get a chance to do enough sangat of Singh's, would be chardikala to do Sangat with doing seva of Panj Singh. Fateh Ji.
  23. thts the problem, we don't care about mahraj- we jus think its another part of the school we don't keep to what we say in rehras sahib everyday- sab rajan ke raja how can we say we're keeping respect for mahraj wen we don't even treat mahraj like mahraj
  24. i agree with akal_sehna there should be action taken against that singh, i heard this singh does other dodgy stuff too- bibia etc.
  25. 'I am joined in true love with you, Lord. I am joined with you, and I have broken with all others.' - Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Ang 659 In celebration of Vaisakhi Monthly Kirtan Darbar On the 3rd April 2009 Programme: Chaupai Sahib Jaap: 6.00pm Rehras Sahib: 6.30pm Followed by Kirtan by Students, Saadh Sangat and Staff Guru Ka Langar will be provided Date: Friday, April 3, 2009 Time: 6:00pm- 9:00pm Location:Guru Nanak Sikh School Springfield Road, Hayes, Middx, UB4 0LT
