this kind of stuff just makes me sick. it happens everywhere. Some gurdware also take part in anti sikh thinking and activity like this. i went to a wedding where after the anand karaj everybody went down to the other side of the gurdwara site to the party hall where there was alot of drinking, meat and smoking. on the gurdwara site. Also the main guy in the commitee there was drunk.

Bhaji, i can understand you confusion in all of this. It is wrong to act out any Guru. When i was a kid, my mum took me to a college where drama students were going to act out a play, org interfaith youth community. Basically the story line is that a group of kids go around the world meeting different prophets. In this case it was guru nanak dev ji. After it there was a big problem as the sikh community were disgusted that a interfaith youth community, who should have known better, gave these kids a play where people are acting out gurus and the muslim community was also very peaved as they had acted out mohammed. my point for this story is that you should fight it and be stubborn. dont let your school do it. this is total beadbi

Sorry Bhenjiz i no im not a singhni but i just really wanted to say something I have been in contact with a bhenji that has a dhari that is bigger than alot of singhs. She keeps her hair no matter what is said to her or how she feels. I just wanted to say that i have so much respect for her, because i have never seen a singhni with that much hair on her chin and still have that strong sikhi to keep it. I cannot even start thao describe how much respect i feel for her. but at the end of the day, you have taken a step that is big in your eyes. That is the main thing. You have taken one step in sikhi, waheguru and the guru will take 1000 steps towards you!

personally, i dont even think that the meaty flavoured crisps and other things even tase like the real thing. so as long as the meat flavour is artificial, i think you can eat them. just lyk to say, i know a singh who has done alot of research and its a fact that the meat flavours in pot noodles are completely artificial. i love the stuff!!!!!!! I was brought up a veggie but because of other influences in my family i started eating meat from a young age. now i have taken amrit and dont touch the stuff

no bhaj, F 74 is the thickness of malmal. you can get diffreent thicknesses of malmal.

Bhaji, i know how you feel, i had no idea wat a dumalla was till i got into sikhi. then i had no way of knowing how long or what material the kapra should be. But for a small quick dumalla, you should use mallmall thickness F 74. At a length of 17.5 metres. But if you want a nice thick and big dumalla like the uk nihangs wear, you will need again mallmall, but a bit thicker than F 74. Im not sure what exact thickness but a shopkeeper that sells that material will know. This for me is also 17.5 metres. Happy Dumalla tying LOL

Singh ji, these problems always seem to come in this life. i just dont get why the world doesnt except that we are sikhs and we cannot take off our kirpan, end of. but singh ji, i think that you should tie a small maybe 3 inch kirpan tied in you dastar. Ok, itll be gupt, meaning it cannot be taken out, defeating the purpose of a kirpan, but its the best thing you can do, other than quit your job, which you and me both know is terribly hard and painfull. Keep it gupt singh, how can they ever know, unless the scan you.

i am a gursikh and i know alot of other gursikhs that talk about these sort of marriage issues. And this is what they all say, but at the end of the day, He/she must be a gursikh, it doesnt matter where they are from, but if I cant find a partner, then leave it with waheguru. If he wants me to get married, I will if not, then I wont.

just keep going round and round you head with the kapra, to cover the back of your head, ebfore you start to shape your dastar to look like a dumalla or wateva. when you are covering your head, just make sure that you leave a gap, just dont cover all the back of your head. make sure the gap is connected to your bunga, so the panj pyaara can get the amrit under your bunga.

i had the same problem, i couldnt even put it onto my phone because of the safe disk security thing. i know how to extract the tracks out of the safe disk security. although it could be classed as piracy. if you still want to break the security, email me directly

yh, but dont tie it too tight. i was never taught how to tie a dumalla, so i made it all up, but through the process i tied it too tight and now i have a big cut on my ear which refuses to heal. Also i have a bit 1.5 inch cut on my head lol!

bhaji, i dont like to brag but my dumalla is sik, atleast everyone else sez that. tell me where you live, i might be able to tie one on you and show you how to do it. if you are not in my area, i might be able to give you details on other people i know who will show you

bhaji, to be totally honest, i have no idea but i have heard rumours that professor surinder singh da tanti saj teacher makes you tie a tagha round your wrist to show you belong to him. i dont know if this is true or what. but it may be a clue

bhaji, i know exactly what you want. i had the same problem at my amrit sanchar. you know when you are tying a dumalla or any kind of dastar, and you go round and round till the back of your head is covered, well, just make sure you leave a 1 inch or 1.5 inch hole. and yeah,, everything da singh before my post said is correct.

Singh man if ur still goin and still taking ur Shashter i suggest u try and stay away from the poison and meat as much as u can, and if u can just try and go outside da whole time and do Paat or Simran or w.e yh bhaj, wen i did the post i ws goin to da party da same day. i managed to go outside for 45 mins of 1 hour. it took my a while for my parents to let me go. but wen i did i got into a phone conversation for 41 mins wid ma m8
