  2. the fact that you are seeing "Sign in with other services" means you are looking at old html. Can you remove your temporary internet files and try again please. You shouldnt be seeing the popup.
  3. hmm, when you click on the "Sign In" button, does it bring up a login popup or does it take you tot hte login page? I removed the popup to fix the problem so now everyone should be going to the login page not the login popup. Let me know if you are still seeing the login popup, It might be cached or something.

  5. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200564948442&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_4319wt_1139 I bought the above from ebay. I dont really put them in my ear, just tuck them under the dastar as I tie my pagh over my ears On odd occasion when I do put them in my ears, they do a pretty good job and sound quality is really good with very little noise. For that price, these are defiantly worth a try.

  7. In the interest of fairness to all those involved in discussing this issue, I have to let you know that the following accounts are being accessed from same IP's and most likely are the same person: Gur<mod edit to protect privacy> siyaanah hooareya whoareya integratedresettle I highlighted the two accounts above because one posted this post http://www.sikhsanga...post__p__485732 and then the other agreed with him http://www.sikhsanga...post__p__485783 In addition to this, the person posting the first post was hooareya but if you look at the reply by siyaanah he calls him "whoareya". when that indvidual hasnt even made a post in this topic yet.

  10. My mum says you can get them in "Guru Teg Bahadur sahib ji gurdwara in Model town" but you can also get them in Shekha Bazzar but I don't think you will find as much stuff as you would in Amritsar. and its Jalandhar (Only correcting you because I am from there)
  11. Compatibility is very important if you dont want any regrets in the future. Aside from the fact that this could be simply a way for him to come to US, I would suggest that you really think about this. Do you really know him well enough? Does he really knows you well enough to be able to claim that he will never get married to someone else. Trust me, these things never happen, people move on. Its the way of the world.
  12. Sunny, I voted one of your posts down (rated it down) because you go on about your cake being so good without eggs but didnt even post a pic man.

Please do not post any more topics about this subject, I just rejected your other topic. We are allowing you one and giving you the benefit of the doubt that this topic is genuine and you really need advice.
  14. You will find that a lot of multi millionaires, billionaires don't have any degrees and dropped out of uni. I see a lot of people running corner shops which make double the amount of money which I make. When you have nothing, you actually have everything at your disposal, you can try anything and everything to find out what you want to do. Most of us are now just stuck in the jobs which our education has brought us to.
  15. Good thread, I will evaluate how I cross the road. Recently I have had IPOD earphones in my ears while music going while crossing the road. Whist I look both way and make sure I only cross the road when the road is clear, I think from now on I will make use of my ears as well. p.s. Remind me not to cross the road when you are there
  16. I think some good points are being discussed in this topic so guptkuri you must make sure you think about these. From a personally experience, my parents did make a simmilar mistake with my sister. She lives in India and was married there so parents gave her the usual stuff. Then when we used to go to India, we used to give my sisters lump sum of money. One of my sister's husband basically just stopped working. So my dad basically had to have a strong word with him (My Jija's dad passed away years ago so he looks up to my dad). So the point is that, too much money may psychologically effect the munda and think I dont have to work hard for things as someone will just provide it. It may also create problems when he will expect something and your parents may not give it. At the same time, help like this from parents (if it doesn't have a negative effect on their finances) can give the kids a boost. So try to find the balance, maybe take the house but let it be known that its not a freebee and both you and your husband will need to pay toward it and eventually it will be yours. This will also ensure that back home he wont be letting others know that if you marry a kuri from USA, in laws will be handing out houses.
  17. The ion converter looks good. It can be bught in UK from http://www.maplin.co.uk/ion-video-2-pc-video-conversion-system-348158?c=froogle&u=348158&t=module

  19. It is a common practise, just make sure that house is in your name. I know it sounds bad but it is best to be careful. When I say it is common practise, I mean that a lot of guys I know who come from india after getting married in UK tend to live with their inlaws mostly. Then eventually they find their own place. Sometime if the in-laws are in a position to do so, they will help with the cost of finding a place etc. It all depends on your family's circumstances. If they can afford to give you a house, then why not. If they cannot, then why not take it but pay them back, bit by bit.
  20. In chrome when you are on that page, right click and choose "Inspect Element". Then choose the "Resources" option and enable the resource tracking. This will list everything that gets loaded. when you browse the page. Send me the screenshot of what is loaded on your computer. Can you confirm that this only happens on that topic? Not on anyother site? I think the poster of that topic pasted the article from another site so it could just be bad html gone in the post.
