The follwers of balan dera have adopted 1. New Granth (Sri Guru Ravidas Amrit Bani Granth) 2. New Symbol (Hari) 3. New Jaikara (Jai Gurdev) 4. New Nishan Sahib. at Varanasi yesterday. Most were existent already, only new granth containing bani of Bhagat Ravidas only has been adopted now and made official. So, present dera head of Balan had made a statement that only Guru Granth Sahib is scriptures and now he did what he refuted earlier. He made the new announcements at Varanasi, which is now main teerth of Ravidasi, the Ravidas Mandir, and they have started to cover it with gold. Any more info? Are all of Ravidasi following suit? Is the new granth in hindi?

Perjury is a very serious act. An officer of court, particularly lawyers but translators too, MUST not help in Misleading the court in any way or wilfully become a tool at hands of unscruplous elements and supress truth. And ignorance of any law is NOT excusable in any way esp if you represent the judiciary which is a watchdog of democracy. If i was the judge Mr Sidhu would be in jail for ATLEAST two years. Plus his having a relations with the accused brought him in Conflict of interest, which could hamper trial. He should have withdrawn. I was just wondering. The outcome of a case becomes known usually weeks before the handing out of sentence. Her father may have been convicted days or weeks before he was sentenced. So what i am assuming is that she probably deleted her page from facebook so that she does not get comments on her upbringing and character when the sentence becomes public. She made it look like she deleted because of critisicm of documentry when the actual reason might be this (conviction of her parent) as a person whose integrity is not free from criminal inclination cannot be trusted to be honest, esp while presenting others characters. If you really want to know the history of punjabis, dont bother is my advise. Punjabis dont have a history. They have been mauled, conquered for thousands of years. Punjab during the times of invasion of Alexander is totally different from todays punjab in terms of inhabitants. Mass migrations during Muslim invasions and it being the gateway to India has caused considerable change in its demographics over centuries. only Sikhs, irrespective of castes/tribes have a definite history as Guru being their source of origin and father, histroy of others is clouded and untraceable in Punjab.

I may add that i liked her documentary when i saw it for the first time. But it was clearly biased against Bhindranwale. The people who were giving history lessons on it included a cold blooded mass murderer who got away with crimes bigger than what he accuses Bhindranwale of clearly becoz he was a Govt man and lives to tell his story. Now Sonia showed bitter critic of Bhindranwale who was almost defeated by Bhindranwale had he not Tanks at his disposal, and whenn some critics ,although not that bitter they arnt killing her family members or raping her mother as was done in the streets of Delhi, criticise her she runs away by citing professional limits. She chose to be a mouthpiece of people of commited mass muders of people and got away, shall we take that she is really dumb or rather too smart?

She was not forced but ran away from criticism. She definitely did not uphold the ideals of her profession by running away and hiding like a coward. Her job is meant for public scrutiny and she is answerable for her research and conduct. You are wrong! Actually beef is available in almost every town, all you need to know is where to look and how you look for it. You can also get it at most of five star hotels, just be discreet.
